The home was beyond expectations and included everything you could need and more. It was secluded and the natural beauty was breathtaking! The host was immediately responsive when we had a question and exceedingly accommodating. The hot tub was perfect on a cold misty morning overlooking the serene river view just a few steps from the deck. Highly recommended and hoping to return next year.

The house was exactly what we needed for a ski trip with 5 kids and 3 adults. All the kids were able to play pool, ping pong, and basketball in the basement while the adults relaxed upstairs after a long day of skiing. No issues. Chip was easily reachable before/during/after our stay.

Carol was absolutely fabulous to rent from & work with on all the details. We highly recommend her place & looking forward to heading back again!

Very spacious house, plenty of room for 3 families (12 people). The house was very well stocked with everything you need. Plenty of activities to do in the basement also and kept the kids plenty busy! Crystal was very responsive!

Clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully provisioned. Perfect rendezvous point for family coming from Traverse City, Houghton, and WNY. Enjoyed a surprisingly sunny spring afternoon on the back porch. A good jumping off point for “up north” attractions, but we were happy to just cook together and visit.

Absolutely loved this place! Had a wonderful time and look forward to booking it again!

Great property, accommodating host!

The apartment was perfect for a weekend getaway to go skiing! The photos of the place matched what we experienced - the place was clean, the towels and other linens were nice, and the shower head was good. Not all places get linens and the shower right, which is very important after a long day of skiing!

Quick stay, this place is nice, clean, quiet and has everything you need. Close to everything. I would definitely stay again.

We enjoyed our stay at the boathouse. It is our third visit and it never disappoints. The boathouse was clean and cozy. Pam and Dave are lovely hosts.

We enjoyed our stay. This room was perfect for a few night stay, had basic kitchen amenities, Roku worked well, couch and lighting gave it cozy feel. Room was very clean, good use of small space. Great location. Communicative hosts. We would stay again.

We enjoyed our stay while in town to ski. Easy walking distance to restaurants for a person that enjoys walking, even in the cold. Thanks for letting us stay in your cute airbnb!! Don and Jill

We had a great stay for a winter ski trip. 20 min to Boyne highlands. Airbnb itself is very well stocked and well maintained. Host was responsive. One thing to keep in mind is there is a steep staircase to get to the unit that I imagine may not be suitable for all.

Lizette and Tim were amazing hosts! From the second I got there I felt right at home. There was every amenity I could possibly need and Lizette was very responsive and attentive. Overall the place was super clean and very cozy — I would highly recommend if you’re looking for a nice homey feel for your trip to Petoskey! :)

My wife and I had a wonderful time at Samantha’s place. It was close to everything for the wedding weekend and was very comfy.

Check in was very easy, door unlocked and let yourself in. Place is exactly as in photos and fully equipped with everything you need. I noticed some people saying that there isn't a mention to how close it is to her house in the backyard, but it wasn't a bother for us. Still felt private with the curtains and minimal contact. She checked in with us every now and then to make sure we were satisfied which was nice as well. I'm not one for saunas, but my boyfriend was rather impressed! Being really close to Harbor Springs and only a short jaunt to Petoskey was really nice for planning my birthday dinner. Amazing sights and exploring tunnel of trees. All-in-all, a relaxing and peaceful experience getting to relax and watch some deer (forest puppies as we call them). The only thing I could suggest to help with privacy, is to make the curtains thicker, they felt a little thin. Maureen's place is wonderful and highly recommend if looking for a get-a-way to relax in the woodsy scenery

Great place to relax with friends or family.

My husband and I stayed at Renee's and Simon's cabin for our Birthdays weekend. The place is peaceful and beautiful, we had the chance to relax and recharge our batteries for 3 days. Renee and Simon are very attentive and thoughtful hosts, they welcomed us with a bottle of wine, and brought us a bottle of champagne for pur Birthday! The dogs are super friendly and sweet, and i had so much fun playing with them. The lake is quiet as you are the only people on it! We will be back for the Fall season. Our stay at the Balsams Resort was truly a once in a lifetime kind of magic. We truly were mystified by the creative power & lore of artist Orr Greenlees in every inch of the cabin + property. Look into the history if you can, such a gem of a time capsule to take part in. Thank you for letting us stay & feel welcomed.

Incredible location within a short drive to Lake Michigan! Peaceful and clean… just perfect!!

This was probably the most thoughtful rental I have stayed in. Little details (small tray on the nightstand for items, fans for white noise, extra blankets, lots of towels, hooks and hangers around) did not go unnoticed! There was also enough items for us to use for the week (toilet paper, dishwasher pods, garbage bags, even shower soaps!!!) The host messaged instructions when we arrived and when we checked out there was no laundry list of to-do’s! We will definitely be back! Thank you!

Perfect location for a fall weekend getaway! Cabin was cozy and clean. Outdoor space was great and having firewood for guests to use was a bonus! Will consider staying again, perhaps in another cabin with friends and/or for skiing!

The cabin is really cute. Perfect setup for our family. We enjoyed the stay and location. Unfortunately got caught in a terrible ice storm which brought trees down all around the house but the hosts were incredibly accommodating and responsive. Helped make a bad situation workable. Overall, the house is great and despite the hiccup recommend.
