The Cottage

Unplug in this peaceful little getaway. Nestled in the backyard of our little hobby farm near the Wood River, you will be able to visit our alpacas, goat, or honey bees. Sit and relax on the porch, or stroll through the pasture or neighborhood. In many ways, the cottage resembles a tiny house with a small bathroom & shower, kitchen sink, microwave, induction hot plate, coffee maker, plates, glasses & utensils. Many of the restaurants & shopping amenities are located on the north end of Kearney.

Hattie’s 1898 Homestead’

Whether you are here to experience the crane migration, the state or county fair, a national or local trap shoot, or to visit family, this comfortable home is the place to rest. Owned by the same family who homesteaded this farmland in the late 1800's, this home has been remodeled. It boasts all the modern conveniences, but with the farm charm. There are two Fire TV's to watch your favorite streaming shows. Other amenities include a washer/dryer, a fenced in backyard for your pets, a BBQ grill, and one secure parking space in the attached garage.

Welcome to…The River. If you’re looking for solitude, masses of birds and a cool dip in a river, then this Loup River cabin and acreage may be just the ticket. Located in farmland but not far from the village of Dannebrog, where you’ll find great pizza and fresh baked goods. There is also a fine grocery store with all the essentials. If you need a bit of retail therapy, Grand Island is only 20 minutes away. There you will find most everything including the Crane Trust, a crane sanctuary.

The Cottage

Coziest place in town This is a tiny home tucked away in the heart of Aurora. within walking distance to our wonderful square in the center of town. This home is a perfect place for you to stay during your visit to Aurora. The house can sleep 4 individuals however it would best suited for 2 children and 2 adults if reaching the maximum of 4 individuals. Spacious modern lodge outside of city.

River Bottom Lodge is a newly built lodge designed for large groups of people to be able to stay in spacious comfort. With 4 bedrooms, 7 beds the sleeping arrangements are comfortable. It has 3 bathrooms with showers. While lounging there are spacious living room arrangements with space and comfort in mind. RBL has an outdoor firepit and a beautiful setting in the morning and evening filled with central NE sunrises and sunsets. Lots of wildlife viewing for your pleasure.

The Pepper Shed

Welcome to "The Pepper Shed" named after our black lab. This is a unique utility shed with built-in living quarters located next to our family home located along the Cedar River. Beds are located in open loft upstairs and bathroom is located on the ground level. While staying, feel free to make yourself at home with private access to a patio, dog kennel, walk out balcony with full accommodations of Wi-Fi, TV with Roku, washer and dryer, outdoor grill and full kitchen.

Stay in Heart of Central City (3 Min Walk- Winery)

Stay in this historic carriage house apartment. Although beautifully decorated it does not pretend to be a five-star hotel. Our home is next to a train track. Welcome to rural Nebraska. Stroll down to Side Street Deli for coffee and breakfast sandwiches. Enjoy the Dark Island Trail located 5 minutes away. Plan dinner at Prairie Creek Vineyard and Winery located across the street or at the authentic Mexican restaurant that is a 1 minute walk away.
