The stay was wonderful, but such a shame there isn't an effective public transport option for getting to the village. So it was useful having been forewarned that there was no designated parking space with the accommodation so to allow time to find a nearby space or go to the free car park at the top part of the village.

We have rarely felt such a sense of luxury and space in an AirBnB stay. It is an interesting mix; modern fixtures and appliances in an old building. The waterfront location made for great walking opportunities right out the front door. Sarah provided a lot of information about the unit and responded quickly to questions. The heating controls may be too sophisticated for their own good, or maybe I am too simple for my own good. I am happy with a thermostat that merely turns up or down. Happily, Sarah can mange the system remotely and you might do well to let her do so. We had a great stay and appreciate the effort Sarah has put into creating such a welcoming and comfortable setting.

Perfect position. Open the front door and there is the beach, lovely little village, shops and restaurants. Ideal little bolt hole and perfect for the dog.

Loved our stay here. Flat was clean, cosy and Katrin had thought of everything we might need… even a handy shoe horn hanging by the front door! We loved sitting in the bay window, watching and listening to the crashing waves , the beautiful sunsets and watching the world go by. Flat was perfectly situated for walks along the prom and along the cliff top. Plenty of cafes and shops nearby. Would definitely recommend.

Wonderful time. The property was exactly as expected and Lisa couldn’t do enough to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Thank you Lisa, will definitely come back.

We stayed here for night 3 of our 6 day road trip around Wales, the cottage is beautiful and easy to find. The host Sal came in to meet us and gave us recommendations for pubs and things to do, the sand dunes are a must if you’re in the area! We had great fun playing Trivial Pursuit and the corner bath is amazing. Overall a fantastic place to stay and unwind after a long day of exploring. 10/10 🙌🎉

Maerina's place was ideal right in the middle of Aber town and close to the sea. Maerina works in the shop beneath the flat and was available for local recommendations and to respond to any issues had there been any, she was a great host, she had left bread and milk for us. Another wonderful break at The Lookout. We stayed in the Lower Deck apartment this time which was perfect for the two of us. Spotlessly clean, great shower and very comfy bed! Amazing views out to sea and everything you need just on your doorstep. The hosts provide you with a parking permit for your stay so that you can park literally opposite the apartment, so very convenient. Excellent communication from the hosts, Jules and Lisa, from the minute we booked until check out. We would thoroughly recommend a stay at The Lookout and can’t wait to return again. What a gem of a place!! It was one of the most tranquil and relaxing stays we've had through Airbnb. Both the location along the magnificent coastline as well as the carriage "Wendy" were absolutely superb and exactly what we were looking for. The interior is so cozy and magical and we enjoyed undisturbed sleep. Thank you Janet

We’ve had a fantastic time at Albro House. The house is stunning and has real history and character to place- it’s quite special and located in a peaceful countryside. The cut flowers around the house is a lovely touch with beautiful views of the fields and river beyond. There is a beautiful courtyard and a lovely place to sit and enjoy the afternoon sun. Lots of space for our group of 12 and kids to run around and it was really well equipped for all our needs. Pete was also an excellent host and on hand should we need anything, which we didn’t really! Highly recommend a visit to nearby Poppit sands and Mwnt beach as well as the local chippy and Tuesday Market next to the abbey. Can’t wait to return!

Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable dans cette belle maison au bord de l'eau. très confortable, dotée d'une grande terrasse et d'un beau jardin en pente. A noter : le pub (The Ferry Inn) a proximité immédiate est très sympa.

My daughter and myself stayed here to reduce to the travel time for my daughter to attend the open day at Aberystwyth university and as she’s accepted the university’s offer for her to attend there in September, this place will now become mine and my husbands place to stay when we visit our daughter. The cottage was spotlessly clean, had plenty of cups, glasses, cutlery ect. There’s also a digital radio in the kitchen that was a welcomed addition. Would like to note…for anyone with mobility issues the stairs are steep, but that’s nothing detrimental to the hosts. Never met the hosts as everything was great and we were left to our own devices to enjoy our stay. There’s an Iceland, Morrisons, Tesco, M&S a 5 minute drive away into town to do a big shop and if you’re looking for good value cheap eats there’s a Wetherspoons near the bus station in town from which you can walk to in a leisurely half hour so you can unpack the car and leave it in the close opposite the cottage until you leave

Wow, as soon as you walk through the door! Views are spectacular and house was great! Host was so helpful to questions we had and quickly responded to my messages. The location was perfect and there was so much to do and explore! Only checked out yesterday and already looking into rebooking again. Thank you so much em x

It's a beautiful home for a family get together. We were a group of three families who had a great and relaxing time at Linda's home. We initially struggled to find the place. Every house had a unique name and the house was right next to the main road. However, Linda was very responsive in helping us to find the location. Once we got in, the stay was amazing. It was a very spacious house and as there were 4 bathrooms, all three families were able to have their own bathrooms. The kitchen was spacious and was a lovely place to chat and enjoy cooking quick meals. Probably the garage has been converted to a game room and wish this space could be improved with more cosy sofas, games, etc. Otherwise it is a lovely stay if you would like to spend more time with family and friends with less external distractions.

Thank you for providing such comfortable accommodation with a stunning outlook. The picture window is mesmerising with its fabulous outlook across the bay. The instruction book provided was very helpful. A well located property for facilities in Aberporth and accessing the coastal path.

A fantastic townhouse, my favourite parts were the stunning attic master suite and views, and stepping over the garden gate onto the beach. Easy to check in and out. There are a lot of stairs, but if this is a worry you’d have everything you need within the ground and first floor. I was solo-travelling, but could imagine this house being perfect for an extended family get-together. Loved this house.

I’d 100% recommend staying here - perfectly located within a few mins walk to everything to do in town and the beach but not on a busy street, the apartment is very clean and comfortable - if anything the pics don’t do it justice. It’s great as a base in town or to explore the gorgeous scenery in the wider area, and was such a cosy and relaxing space for a weekend getaway. Mandy was responsive, friendly and super helpful with heaps of great local recommendations. We’ll be coming back to complete her recs list!

this has to be one of the nicest cottage I've stayed in, had everything you need and surrounded by the amazing views and a lovely river beside the cottage, a big field aswell for my dogs which was great. david was great and replied back to my messages straight away. the cottage it's self is beautiful and I like all the quirky pictures and stuff. also the WiFi was spot on super fast. overall this was great stay and we are already looking to book again for the summer, I would definitely recommend 👍🏻

We had a wonderful stay at the Annex. Naomi was the perfect host, proactive and helpful. The place was spotless and had everything we needed for a long, peaceful weekend. It's a short walk to the beach (althought the walk back up the hill is steep so pace yourself!). Gorgeous town and beaches, the fish and chips shop, and Chinese takeaway were both great! Plenty of lovely walks nearby too. Wouldn't hesitate to come back!

The flat is beautifully located overlooking the prom and the sea with constantly changing views as the tide goes in and out. It is very convenient for the town centre. It is comfortable and well-equipped. Parking requires planning as there are time limits outside and limited availability during he day. We would stay again if visiting Aberystwyth.

Would give the location 10 stars if we could! On a quiet road, easy to park and only a 4 minute walk to the beautiful beach. Super clean, easy check in, Llewela is lovely. Our dog loved the secure garden in the evening. Would definitely return! Thank you.

Très bel appartement; très bien situé. La ville et le quartier sont calmes fin avril. Parfois un peu long pour trouver une place dans la rue, mais on trouve toujours. Très contents de notre séjour!

I can't say enough about this stay. Yes, it was exactly as described, beautiful and overlooking the water. Yes, the location was perfect and walkable to everything. But what really stood out was the unbelievable responsiveness and kindness of the host, Nia. When due to my own failings I couldn't figure out the lock box, one message and they were down to help me in and even carry my luggage up within 10 minutes. When I had a confusion about dates, again through my own scattered brain, they were incredibly kind and helpful. In the system where so many airbnb's are more of a corporate and business nature, it was wonderful to have the personal touch. If I ever need an Airbnb in Aber again, this is the only one for me. I wish I could give it more than five stars.
