Welcome!! We look forward to meeting you & sharing our little piece of heaven with you. The Shack is on our working Blueberry farm. You can enjoy the pond, fishing, swimming, kayaking. Take a hike through the woods along the well beaten trails. Sit for hours around the fire pit, roast hotdogs or s’mores, or just relax. During berry season you can be the first one in the field and/ or the last one out.We are close to Kirbyville, where there are several restaurants, antique stores, and boutiques.

Little Big House

4 bedroom 2 bath home on Cane River Lake in Natchitoches, Louisiana. Built in 1942, and newly refurbished with hardwood and tile floors throughout. Located 4 miles from Historic Downtown Natchitoches. When reserving Little Big House, count each person that will be staying as a guest. Some hosts list the entire home for a set price but we charge per person. This allows a small group to enjoy the stay without paying full pricing for eight people . Minimum of two and maximum of 8 people. No pets!

Private boat launch is 2 houses down for anyone with a boat. Very convenient. You will have access to the entire house and the boathouse where you can fish off of the dock, sunbathe, or swim. There is great fishing off the dock. Great for any fisherman coming to fish the lake or a family looking for a quiet getaway. No pets allowed
