The Stevedore House

This unique and historic house is located in Thevenard, SA. The Stevedore House was originally that - the 'Stevedore' (or wharfmaster's) house built in the 1930's just by the Thevenard Wharf. In the 1970's the house was moved (on the back of a Mercedes truck) to a new location in Thevenard where it now stands. The Stevedore House has been stylishly updated but still plays homage to its original purpose and history.

Our place is good for couples, adventurers, families and shared couples. Close to beach with sea views and be beautiful cliff and bay walks. You can catch squid whiting tommies off town jetty & there is a fish cleaning bay available for your use at the jetty. Tinny’s can be hired through caravan park kiosk for use in the bay & drinks & meals available at general store most days.

18 Anastasia is a modern home positioned on a spacious block. The rise of the block provides a slight view of Blanche Port to the north, brilliant sunsets to the west and often the sound of the rolling surf from Back Beach. If you are a large family or group we can sleep up to 8 people and there is plenty of outdoor space for vehicles.
