Near the other wall is a futon that folds out into a comfortable full size bed, small chest of drawers, and table. Chickens and ducks roam the property so you might have some visitors. About 40 minutes northwest of downtown Austin, 15 minutes from Leander train station.

The Johnson Creek Cabin is a guest house that sits at the back of same property as my home in the heart of central Austin. The main house is called “Upson House” and is also available for rent through Airbnb. The location is within walking distance of Zilker Park (ACL), many fine restaurants, shopping, downtown, public transportation, and yet is secluded enough to provide an unforgettable experience that includes much of the best of what makes Austin great.
