Cawsand: case vacanze con accesso alla spiaggia

Lovely Cawsands as usual. The studio is always clean and welcoming on arrival, it has everything you might need. The little sunspot just outside the studio is somewhere lovely and peaceful to sit. A few steps from a pretty woodland and a few steps more to the bay, with it's sailing and fishing boats We have always found Mo to be friendly, cheerful and helpful. The locals are very friendly too. Try the bakery for wonderful breakfasts and homemade cakes!

Colin and Lisa were great hosts. Communication at all times was excellent and friendly. We met Lisa on arrival and she was very welcoming. One of the best and generous welcome packs we've ever had. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and very well presented, whilst being relaxing after a day out and about. The kitchen had everything that we needed for our stay and the balcony with the view of the marina was a bonus. The bathroom was clean and a had a decent shower and unexpectedly generous selection of products to use. The bed was also comfortable. Great location with Williams Yard just a few minutes away and lots of local cafes, bars and restaurants. We have an EV and found charging points outside Williams Yard and there were also some on a small carpark on the same street, which were very handy for charging our car. It's a 20-30 minute walk to The Hoe and The Barbican. Would happily stay with Colin and Lisa again or recommend to anyone.

This is the second of Ali’s places I’ve stayed in and it’s just as perfect. I travel at lot with my job and would say this bed is one of THE most comfortable I’ve ever stayed in. The location and the apartment block itself is perfect if you’re bringing your dog with you. I’m currently looking to buy in Plymouth and I like the location and Ali’s place so much I’m now looking in this location for myself. Ali is really communicative and friendly and all instructions and details were perfectly clear. Having stayed in other spots in Plymouth (when Ali’s hasn’t been available), I’d also say this is one of the best value places to stay in the city.

Had a fantastic week at Kay’s place in Devon. From initial booking to final goodbyes, Kay was very helpful with communication and ideas to visit local places. I stayed in Rockpool, one of two apartments on site. Rockpool had everything you could ask for, was spotlessly clean and there were nice treats waiting for me on arrival. At night, the village was so quiet and the stars were more visible and enchanting to observe than from my usual Northern home. Incredible darkness. Take a torch if visiting! There’s a lovely pub 10 minutes walk away and also the estuary and sea views are in walking distance. It’s a very nice place to get away from the rat race and relax. Really enjoyed my stay and exploring this part of Devon. Nothing but 10 out of 10. Thanks Kay.

house was beautiful, perfect location and view was lovely. Easy walking distance to royal william yard and the ferries. Hosts were very responsive and welcoming. Highly recommend visiting Ryan and Tanya at Fig Tree @ 36 if you want some amazing fresh local food! 10/10 for the food and service - we went a few times! Easy walking distance too. Will definitely stay again!

What a location!! Kerrie's place is a clean and well-equipped base for exploring Devon and Cornwall. Great communication from host! Recommend the walk from Cawsand to Cremyll and then taking the ferry to Royal William Yard.

We had a fantastic stay at Picklecombe Fort. The views were spectacular, as everyone says. We arrived in the rain & wind but nothing dampened our spirits as we gazed out from the truly cosy apartment to the mesmerising view. Over the next days it brightened up, so we were able to sit on the private balcony, and enjoy looking over to Kingsand & Cawsand. The coastal path is close at hand and we would recommend the Cawsand ferry over to Plymouth for a little wander. The facilities were excellent, bed very comfortable and the place was spotless when we arrived. Thank you Tiffany for hosting and your friendly messages. We would love to come back again to explore more of the surrounding area. We couldn’t recommend it enough.

Close to the beach and a lovely pub /restaurant. The large kitchen table was ideal for our family get together. Very peaceful location we would love to return.

We had an amazing time here. Perfect for dog walks along the beach just a stones throw away. Lovely pubs within a few miles and a great all round location to stay. Will definitely be back!

Beautiful cottage! Great reception of bubbles, chocs, local shortbread and milk. All very welcomed, thank you Penny. The cottage is stunning and tastefully furnished. There is everything you could ask for in the kitchen. The sofas are comfortable and the living room is lovely and cosy. We loved the beams, stained glass and original floors. Huge and enclosed garden that overlooks the stunning cove. We loved our stay here and can imagine it to be even more amazing in summer. The only thing I would change is the TV that is in front of the gloriously, stunning view. I could sit there all day just looking at the ever changing vistas…it is a very special place and you are very lucky if you get a chance to stay there. Fowey is a 15 minute (lovely walk) away.

Wow! This is one of the best Airbnb's that we have stayed in - such an amazing location! The views out to sea are just incredible. Really well stocked house, with lovely linen and toiletries. Felt like a home from home as soon as we walked in. Cawsand and the surrounding area is beautiful with great walks from the door and welcoming local pubs. We'll be back I have no doubt.

Wendy’s house is a delight, overlooking the sea at Hope Cove. We went in off season, but local pub was open. The accommodation is exactly as described, warm, comfortable and in a great location- the local roads are a bit narrow though!! Easy drive to Salcombe. I would imagine it gets very busy here in the summer as it is such a lovely area.

Absolutely perfect 🥰 We have just returned home from a fabulous week at this wonderful house. It truly is home from home and fully equipped with everything you need. The views are absolutely stunning. Mark, the owner, was super helpful and we knew that he was available anytime if we needed anything (we didn't) We took my elderly parents, and our daughter. My dad has dementia and it was so lovely and peaceful and calming for him and it gave my mum some much needed relaxation time and I am so so grateful for that. Our daughter loves photography and she took beautiful photos of the amazing sunsets. All in all it was a perfect holiday in a fabulous house and a stunning location. We will definitely be returning there and I cannot recommend it highly enough

I adore this place. The house is larger than it seems in the photos. Three beautiful seating areas, all with sea views. An enormous kitchen and well stocked kitchen. Washing machine and tumble dryer are very handy. A really beautiful ensuite bedroom. The childrens attic room offers lots of fun for the children. I loved the coastal walks and the wild sea. I hope we come back soon. X

*This is a stunning house*. The open-plan living room is upstairs, with an adjacent but separate, modern kitchen. There were 6 of us + 2 dogs, and we had ample space; the house will comfortably host 8 (2 double bedrooms, 1 twin, 1 bunks). The outside space is off the main living area at the back of the house, as the property’s impressive design hugs the hillside. It’s v private and can be made part of the main living space via 1 of the 3 sets of bifold doors; the other 2 access the balcony that runs the width of the front. Two bedrooms are downstairs and the master bedroom boasts an en-suite bathroom that wouldn’t be out of place in a top hotel. The layout is unorthodox - but works brilliantly. It’s furnished and fitted out very tastefully, with a mixture of the modern, minimalist and mid-century. What else to say? The location was great for us: walkable to Salcombe town (uphill on the way back to walk off the pizza) + a wonderful dog walk down the North Sands. Perfect!

Absolutely stunning apartment. Ideal location, literally a minute walk to the harbour. Chris was the perfect host, he supplied me with a complete rundown of Polperro, options on where to eat and drink, the best walks to take etc etc. Fantastic advice and Chris responds to any questions within half an hour. Cannot wait to stay again.

We loved staying here. The view was amazing and the photos didn’t do it justice. We received really helpful instructions on how to get there by car as the hill is slightly tricky to navigate but that is to be expected! Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again.

Amber and Jesse are lovely hosts. They have an amazingly centrally located flat near the waterfront in Plymouth. Highly recommend as this was a great place for our family.

Perfect location easy to access all areas. We parked in the more expensive nearby car park for convenience but you can park further away for less. Stairs were a bit of a challenge but the place was spotless.

Great value, great host and location. Only downside is the steepness of the hill after dinner/drinks in town!

Susie is the perfect host couldn't fault her at all. She is an absolute delight and was lovely meeting her. The train station is a ten minute walk and the beach is a ten minute walk. The pub is directly across. The place is beautiful would recommend definitely.

Warm friendly welcome from Chris on arrival, nice of him to supply the essentials , bread, milk, butter, eggs and biscuits. Beautifully decorated & a very comfortable spacious well equipped apartment, with parking a great location very peaceful and an easy walk into Polperro, bus stop just down the road if needed. great walks and lovely pubs & restaurants in the village. All in all a very enjoyable totally relaxing 6 nights, highly recommended 👌 👍.

We had a great stay at Shirley and Rob's accommodation. We booked last minute for Easter Sunday but notwithstanding it being a holiday weekend the communication was excellent and the home spotless. A great place in a super setting. I am sure we will be back.
