A group of mums and kids (age 6-11) had a fabulous stay. The house is perfect for a group or large family. The house was perfectly set up with lots of amenities in the kitchen so we were able to cook proper meals. The garden was great for the kids. The area had a lot of places to visit though would recommend having a car as the house is a little way from pubs and restaurants. Highly recommend.

The whole process from booking to leaving was made simple by Lauren. The personal touches were certainly appreciated making it feel truly like a home from home. The home was lovely and Lauren went the extra mile to ensure we had a great stay! Thank you!

We had an amazing stay at Caroline and Patrick's! Even though the weather wasn't great, there was so much for us and the kids to do! The pool was fantastic, basketball, tennis, etc- something for all of us. The house was spotless and we had everything we needed. The bed linen was so soft and the mattresses very comfortable. The indoor fire was also very special. We were so grateful for our stay, and can't wait to visit again! Simply can't recommend enough!

We had a wonderful few days here — the perfect base for exploring the area. The house had everything we needed and more, and it was incredibly comfortable. It really felt like a home away from home. We wouldn’t hesitate to come back and would happily recommend it to anyone.

Wir waren mit der ganzen Familie bei Emma zu Gast und es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Wir haben uns gleich wie zu Hause gefühlt und wurden herzlichst empfangen immer wieder gerne. Das Haus ist ganz wunderbar.

Michael et son épouse sont de bons hôtes. Très réactifs et serviables! L arrivée et le départ sont très faciles à organiser. La maison est fidèle à la description, au centre de l irlande, loin de tous les tracas des villes! Le pub d a côté est tres chouette aussi!!!

This place was fantastic! It had plenty of space for our family, making it perfect for both relaxation and socializing. The en-suite bedrooms were incredibly comfortable, offering privacy for everyone. Waking up to a stunning view and enjoying breakfast at home was a wonderful experience. The house was equipped with everything we needed, from modern appliances to entertainment options like a TV, music system, and board games, keeping us entertained throughout our stay. When we arrived, the house was spotlessly clean, perfectly warm, and ready to use. Every window offered breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape, making it an ideal place to unwind. A truly perfect getaway!

We had pretty wet and not overly warm weather; but the accommodation more than made up for it. It’s cosy and very comfortable and you can easily while away hours looking at all the books and records and memorabilia. Especially loved the view from the lounge area. Jim was very welcoming; friendly and kind. A real gent. Top place to stay.

I am bushwhacking around Ireland relying on public transport. John picked me up at the bus station in Edgeworthstown and brought me home. It is a .5 mile walk to town which was fine with me. The 2nd. Annual Granard Book and Literary Festival was ongoing 4-19/21 with many poets and authors in town. Picked up a few books and the bars were hopping with craic and trad! Met lots of cousins which was the primary focus of my visit. Grand time.

Peter was a fantastic host. Looked after us during our four weeks day. His dad brought logs for the fireplace regularly and without us even asking. Lovely little village with amazing pub next door and others just up the road. Shops within a couple of minutes walk. Great walks and scenery within a short drive. Highly recommended!

Hosts were amazing .Very friendly and helpful .Great location . peaceful and calm .Relaxing .If I needed the fire lit came in to sort it out .Amazing hosts .Would definitely go back .
