Castleton: soggiorni in cottage

Alecia and John were meticulous hosts from the well curated guide book to their responsiveness when we had questions. All made for a wonderful family fourth of july! We look forward to returning.

There are not enough words to capture our experience staying at the Sun Cottage! From the moment we arrived we were amazed at the beauty of the lanscape and the cottage. The wealth of amenities and luxury of the cottage was astounding. We kept finding carefully placed unique touches throughout the cottage. Mornings spent on the patio eating breakfast and evenings in the hot tub listening to the sound of the brook nearby are just a few of the moments we cherished. Access to the pond abudding the property to swim as well as the trails along the brook made this an exceptioal getaway! Can't thank Hunter and Jess enough.

We had a wonderful time at Amanda’s place. We just needed a quick get away to relax and it was perfect! The place is in a great location very quiet, beautiful trails to walk on plenty of restaurants to order from and lots of other things to do very close by and the place was immaculate. It had everything we needed and more. Amanda was a great host and responded immediately to any questions and it was also perfect for our dog who loved the fenced in backyard and really enjoyed the walks on the trails. The hot tub and fire pit were a bonus and we spent a lot of time enjoying them. Overall, a great spot to spend time and I would recommend it to anyone who just wants to get away be comfortable and enjoy all that Saratoga has to offer. Great house with plenty of space and beds. Living room had ample couches and great for our group to hang out there with the fireplace and hot tub off the back deck of kitchen. Kitchen had all necessary cooking pots/pans/utensils. Easy communication with the hosts and would return.

Perfect place for a ski weekend with a group of friends. House was exactly as described, check in was extremely simple, and all the amenities were in full working order and easy to use (special shout out to the hot tub which was amazing after a day out on the mountain). Location is less than 10 minutes from the Skyeship gondola, less than 20 from the main Killington base areas, and easy to find just off of the main road. Overall we had a great time and would 100% stay here again in the future.

Beautiful cottage to stay at! It had everything we needed and more! Very great area. So many beautiful places to explore. Less than 10 min away from thundering brooks falls. It was such a beautiful waterfall and perfect hiking spot! Ross was very helpful! He went out of his way to give us a bunch of helpful information for our stay. If we are going back to the area we will definitely be staying here!

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful house for a weekend ski getaway. The house is located on a gorgeous lake just minutes from Okemo, making it a perfect stay for Skiing. The views of the lake are spectacular with direct lake front access. We had a very comfortable stay and enjoyed the hot tub after skiing as well as sitting in the living room by the gas fire place. This is by far one of the nicest AirBnBs that we have booked near Okemo and we look forward to staying at the house again in the summer and winter.

Matt's place has all the bells & whistles. We felt spoiled over our four nights. I love to cook and never have I ever had a rental kitchen be as easy and enjoyable as Matt's. I mean, the chef's knives were actually sharp! We didn't really go anywhere (except for The Worthy Burger & Silver Lake Syrups - do check them both out, lovely people and goods) so almost all our meals were made at home. The location is super private, my bark prone hound dog couldn't have bothered anyone. The cabin was perfectly cozy and very comfortable; we had inclement weather but it was no worry to huddle up inside for days. I'd LOVE to come back and have been day dreaming of September.

Couldn’t recommend Green Haven anymore. Barbara and Gregory were fantastic hosts, were extremely hands on and accommodating to make it a perfect stay for my family and dog. Everything in the listing is described perfectly and the property and cabins are super clean. Location is fantastic as well, just a very short drive into Lake George village.

The Smithy was a great choice for us! We enjoyed our weekend getaway, relaxed by the wood fire while the snow was falling, and best of all, we LOVED the cheese platter that Angela makes. Everything was local and delicious! She was a great host and very responsive to anything we needed during our stay. Hoping for a next visit some time soon!

Beautiful and peaceful location. Comfy beds. Everything had been thought of; cooler bags to use by the lake, super long dog leashes, beach towels etc etc Lake area was gorgeous and made for some fun times watching the sun set over a camp fire. Thank you, ever so much.

We enjoyed our stay so much! The place was nice and clean and quiet, perfectly organised and thought through. Karen was a welcoming, friendly, and helpful host. I wish more AirBnBs were like this! Would be happy to return someday.

Our stay at Jeremy's was too short!! They have thought of everything and the breakfast and snacks are so thoughtful and appreciated. The house was easy to find and so close to so great food and hiking spots. Sitting outside and watching the koi swim in the pond in the mornings was a dream. Fully recommend. thank you!!

Even better than described! We had such a nice stay in the cottage. It’s absolutely adorable and has everything you could need for a night, a week or a month. Very clean and perfectly situated for privacy but close to attractions. Will definitely book again

House was perfect for our short stay away. Roughly 15min to Stratton. Nice piece of property to walk around with our dog. Overall would stay again.

We so enjoy staying at Melissa’s place. It has everything you could need and is an amazing location. We discovered the catamount xc trail is only a short distance away.

The main intention behind our visit to Banjo's Cottage was to disconnect and it proved to be absolutely perfect for doing just that. Cozy decor, manageable layout, well-stocked kitchen, no TV, beautiful grounds, convenient location...Lesley and her family provided it all in spades. We read books, completed a puzzle, took in the stars and enjoyed the silence. 20 mins south of Middlebury, and just over an hour south of Burlington...this place offers prime seclusion, as well as easy access to areas of interest. Lesley is always responsive and eager to accommodate. Special shoutout for ensuring we were fully prepared to stay somewhere new with a 13-month old. Pack 'n Play, highchair, outlet covers, toys and books...all generously offered upon arrival. Reading through the log it becomes apparent that this place holds a magical quality to all those who visit. We definitely hope to be back some day.

Fantastic stay! This cabin exceeded our expectations! It was even more spacious than it looked in the photos, making our stay extra comfortable. Everything was thoughtfully equipped with all the essentials (and more), making it feel like a home away from home. The setting was peaceful and perfect for a relaxing getaway. Just a short 10-minute drive to the slopes, making it super convenient for skiing. Josh was very accommodating and easy to communicate with. We would definitely love to come back. Highly recommend!

What a wonderful spot and truly gorgeous home. Perfect size with everything we needed for a long weekend in the mountains. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

We felt right at home in this lovely rustic cabin on the lake. We had to work with Thomas to solve some unfortunate complications during our stay, including a dead rodent in the sink, a lack of sheets and towels, and taking our trash with us. However, we loved the home and had a wonderful weekend in the area. Thank you!

We had a remarkably great experience staying in Linda and Chris's cottage. They are fantastic hosts providing welcoming details about their spot and the surrounding area's amenities. Every detail is attended to so that you can arrive and settle in immediately. It's also a very peaceful and relaxing environment inside and out. We can't wait to come back next year!

We had a great time! Jonathan was very responsive and answered every questions. Jonathan knew we were coming for fishing and since the weather was not cooperating he allowed us to check in earlier. His flexibility was appreciated by my husband who caught 3 huge bass the first day! The place is exactly how it is described. Perfect for a couple’s getaway. We enjoyed the scenery and felt relaxed and rejuvenated. Home is well stocked and clean. Great board game collection for fun evenings. Saratoga Springs is 35 minutes away for great restaurants and night life but plenty of local restaurant and pizzerias 10 to 15 minutes away. Overall great place with great host! We will definitely be back! Thank you again Jonathan for everything!

Highly recommend! We came to visit our daughters at Skidmore; perfect location! The cottage is beautiful and perfect for my wife and I, Kim and Ray were wonderful, friendly hosts!
