My family and I had an amazing time at Wendy’s cabins! We were there to celebrate my parents 50th anniversary, & the place could not have been more perfect. Hot Tub, Fire pit, winery’s near by! The aesthetic is perfect, could not have been any happier. Thank you Wendy! ♥️

As in other reviews be prepared for sulfur water. The sulfur smell is horid. However, i believe the owner has done everything he can to try to elevate it. Filters work well but they need constant flow or they can be bad instead of good. I developed rash from it. I read reviews and knew about it well in advance. The place is very comfortable and quiet location. If you listen carefully you can hear the click clock of amish on the roads. The electric heaters heat the property astonishingly well. This week we had nearly 30 inches of snow. We were sick of the snow for sure. Plenty of grocery stores and shopping nearby. Restaurants as well. Beds feel hard at first but slept like baby. No stains on sheets etc as others pointed out. Over all enjoyed our stay. IF YOUR SKIN IS SENSITIVE TO SULFUR NOT THE PLACE FOR YOU. UNTIL A PERMANENT SOLUTION IS FOUND FOR THE ISSUE. We will probably rebook in 25.

It was quiet and peaceful with a beautiful view. It was what we were looking for for a short getaway. 10/10 would recommend it to a friend and would stay again

My family and I loved our stay here! We had an extended weekend and used the Rustic Retreat as a base camp to explore the area and just relax. Highlight of the stay was the hot tub and stargazing!

Cynthia's home provided amazing views and beautiful sunsets. Our family vacation was memorable because of all the spaces indoors and outdoors that enabled us to appreciate the lake and natural surroundings. Cynthia was responsive to all of the little questions that popped up and we got to take advantage of so many restaurants and fun activities on Lake Erie and Lake Chautauqua. Our family of ten would stay again in a heartbeat!

The stay was amazing. Angela is a great host - to the ones leaving a bad review - please checkout the description - know what you're signing up for. Also don't skip the breakfast! it's a must have!!!

We enjoyed staying at David’s place very much. The house was dated but clean. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed to cook for a big family. We enjoyed the game room very much. The pellet fireplace was a nice touch to make the room warm and cozy. Location was great as it was only 9 minutes drive to Ellicottville and 11 minutes to Holiday Valley. David was quick to respond to any problems. Would definitely recommend.

Angela is a great host with a beautiful property. Warm cabins in the snowy tundra, with a hot tub!

Great little place for a weekend getaway. Cabin had everything you’d need, in a nice peaceful, remote location. Would recommend especially for a quick ski trip!

Place was very cool with one heck of a view from the kitchen window. We are simple people and easy to please so we loved it. Would go back there for sure.

The cabin was the perfect spot for our very small wedding. It was somewhat rugged, which i and my wife loved. But it was still modern enough to have all the emenities that my wife's daughters could utilize. The property is clean and well taken care of. the owner is pleasant and generally responds within a minute or two. well worth the money.

The cabin is beautiful and off the grid. Made me feel like I was staying at my family’s cabin when I was a kid. Very peaceful and great to sit back and relax. House is very clean and has beautiful surroundings.

Such an amazing getaway for my Fiancé’s birthday weekend. He said it was one of the best trips he had in a while. We loved using the kayaks in the pond and hiking around the area. My dogs had an absolute blast swimming and playing. The cabin was extremely clean and did have a hose out front making it easy to wash off our dogs before they came inside after playing. Ashley was super responsive and helpful and left us a nice note and sweet treat to start the weekend which felt very welcoming. Location still felt very private even with the other house on the road. We definitely recommend staying here!

We liked everything very much, we stayed with the children, the children were delighted with the second floor, amazing nature, the pond, we liked everything very much, the owner provided coals for the barbecue, coffee, candles for lighting, everything was at the highest level

We absolutely loved our stay here! The area is absolutely beautiful and so peaceful. We had our mini honeymoon here and celebrated with friends, we couldn’t have picked a better place for it!

This was a really interesting farm-stay location. We were very tempted to try out the "Cowboy Castle" space instead -- we could see the "castle" from Shepherd's Shack, an impressive piece of custom construction sticking up above the rest of the house -- but we decided we might sleep better in a separate building. Read the listing carefully. It's currently accurate: "this is on a farm and there will be some mud during melting snow. it is a new listing and does have some things not finished." In particular there's no kitchen sink in the kitchen, and no shower, but a nice bathtub pretty much in the same room with the bed. This may well change eventually, for all I know. All the fixtures worked very well. There's siding, trim work, and ceiling finish work clearly still in progress, too. We didn't need to fire up the wood stove, but it's clearly very capable of heating the space! The furniture is eclectic but very nice in its way, including an old-fashioned four-poster bed.

We had such a great time at JT’s Landing! It is a beautiful, cozy cabin with a great open concept on the main floor. It was complete with all the amenities that you need for a comfortable stay. Colleen even checked in about things that we would like included for our young daughter (high chair, pack ‘n play, gates, etc.). We loved the coffee/hot cocoa bar. We had a great time playing outside and sledding in the snow. The driveway was well-plowed and easy to access. Colleen was very responsive and helpful throughout our entire stay. Thank you for your hospitality!

Private cabin made for a peaceful stay for me and, for my dog, an exciting place to run around wooded trails and sniff. I was impressed with how communicative and responsive the hosts were, and that they were helpful in letting us know what to expect and what to pack. The cabin is truly off the grid but with cell reception. No water or electric, though they had a battery powered light, composting toilet, firepit to cook outside with wood provided, and inside stove to stay warm. Bring everything as if you were camping, minus tent/sleeping mat. What a great upgrade from camping to stay in a real bed! You can pack heavy, as the hosts will give you a ride to/from the cabin on a wagon pulled by their tractor. It’s maybe a half mile along a rough terrain road between the cabin and where you will park your car, so far enough back in the woods to feel very private and peaceful. We enjoyed our stay and would love to visit again to explore more of the trails.

Stayed here twice now. Jon has been a great host. Tons of space, beautiful setting and has always been clean. Would definitely stay again

We had a lovely weekend for the 2024 eclipse. The cabin itself is beautiful and pretty private. You can tell they put a lot of love into this space. You can see the road from the cabin, but neighbors are far away. You can hike around the property a bit, there's plenty of land. The owners are super friendly. Josh was our main contact and he was very easy to communicate. We had some last minute changes with our group and he was easy to talk about it with. One tiny downside was that the owners(?) dropped in unannounced to check in on us several times. They were super friendly and seemed just to want to make sure we had what we needed, though we would have preferred with fewer drop-ins, since we booked it for the privacy. Overall though, we had a beautiful weekend. Would definitely recommend.

My husband and I went for 4 nights for a getaway. After opening the door, we were so Pleased to see the Beauty inside. Every room was big. We could of fit our whole family in there comfortably. Bonus having a washer and dryer! Unfortunately, for us it rained everyday! Just another reason to visit again. As far as the price a decent hotel would of been more money and we got a whole house with all the amenities! Can't wait to visit again! Thanks to Our Host, every question was answered promptly!
