The home is stunning with an enormous living room and bedroom suite. Nestled in the woods on 7 acres, you will feel as if you are in a tree house! There is a bridge and trails that lead down to the river. There is also a gazebo and fire area on site. Airbnb no longer allows hosts to allow parties or large gatherings of more than 16 people.

Beautiful high-rise cabin, with wrap around porch, overlooking the Amite River! Perfect for a romantic getaway, family fishing trip or gathering friends for some fun on the river. This place offers it all! Large yard for tent camping and outdoor games. Private beach, excellent for swimming. Boat lauch access available to guests. Huge, private, entertainment area downstairs with BBQ pit/grill and smoker, seating, and fire pit. Private fishing pond with motorless boat and fish cleaning station!

Adorable 1 bedroom guest house on modern mini farm

Resting on 15 acres, come relax and feel tucked away in this little guest cabin. Situated on a mini farm with chickens, bunnies, and mini Scottish Highland cows. The cabin is stocked with snacks, light beverages, coffee, robes, and disposable slippers to make it feel like home away from home. Guests are welcome to any fresh garden fruits or free range yard eggs while staying on the property. We have put some extra thought into the little details to help make your stay enjoyable and relaxing.

This beautifully renovated home sits on 5.5 acres with an acre pond. Conveniently located near I-55 & I-12 and about 5 min. from S.L.U. & downtown Hammond. Harper's Haven is about 30 min from Baton Rouge & about 45 minutes from downtown New Orleans. Sleeps 6, offering a King size bed, & 2 Queen beds. The kitchen is fully equipped including a Keurig. There is also a laundry room with a washer/dryer & utility sink. Enjoy grilling or relaxing on the patio, or fishing and kayaking in the pond.

A family friendly walk up centrally located in charming Ponchatoula, LA. The upstairs apartment is located in the historic Old Nehi Building built in 1925. Comfortably sleeps 6; with 2 private bedrooms and a sofa pullout in the living room. The space features vibrant colors, regional art and unique furnishings. A full bath features essentials including a hair dryer. The full kitchen includes coffee & breakfast items. A washer & dryer with detergent and dryer sheets are included.

The Gator Getaway

The Gator Getaway is the perfect escape from reality located in the swampy town of Manchac, Louisiana. It is the ideal place for a stay near the water with no boat required! The historic building was the original Church of Manchac and was remodeled into a home. Located within walking distance to the famous Middendorf's Restaurant! Also nearby is the public boat launch, Sun Buns river bar boat taxi, and other local favorite spots! Located about 40 miles outside of New Orleans.

The Blue Heron Guest House is a great place to just get away, enjoy nature, canoe (provided), fish the pond or the bayou, birdwatching (lots of birds), etc. The property does have a boat slip and a small boat launch for those who want to explore the area by boat. Bayou Manchac connects to the Amite River nearby. We can’t wait to share our paradise with you!

This home is a quaint, waterfront oasis, with space to enjoy friends and family inside or outside. It is just minutes by foot, car and/or boat to restaurants, bars and many water events. With prior notification to host you may have full access to onsite boat slip. Depending on size of boats slip can host up to 2 boats at one time. Come and see why this is OUR happy place, and it could quickly become your happy place.

Rosemound on Blood River

**Escape to a Secluded River House Retreat** Welcome to our charming Rosemound Camp, situated in a unique curve of Blood River near its intersection with the Tickfaw River, this hidden gem is nestled on acres of spanish moss covered trees, not a neighbor in site, except maybe a passing boater. The property features an authentic indian mound, rope swings, a dock for swimming and boating and high speed wifi.

Also not far from Southeastern Louisiana University, Chappapeela baseball and sports facilities, and the local shopping.
