Carroll County: soggiorni in cottage

Our stay at Chelsea and Mathew’s cottage was top notch. The communication and instructions on all things related to the cottage were detailed and clear. From prior to booking and throughout the stay the communication was excellent. The house was clean and well kept, charming and welcoming. The bonus features of the wood burning stove and hot tub made this a must stay location for us and we couldn’t have been happier with what they added to the overall experience. I highly recommend the spot for its proximity to Black Mountain, what the house offers and the hosts were fantastic. We’ll be back for sure!

À part le lave-vaisselle qui ne lavait pas bien la vaisselle, les grosses fourmis dans la cuisine et les pattes des chaises de la salle à manger qui n'étaient pas bien vissées et que mon conjoint à fixé comme il faut, je recommande l'endroit. Avec les feuilles tombées au sol, il était hasardeux de se promener sur le terrain car des matériaux et des objets étaient dissimulés sous les feuilles. Pour le type de voyage que nous avons fait, c'était très bien pour nous et nous étions bien dans la maison.

This place was perfect for our family weekend of skiing! It was as advertised and matched the pictures. Marco's home is completely renovated and very clean. Marco was proactive with communication, checked the hot tub for us before we arrived, and gave us very friendly and clear instructions. Based on rentals, Marco let us check-in early and even check-out a little later which was very helpful and stress-free. We would definitely love to return!

We LOVED our girls weekend away. The 3 bedrooms and sleeper sofa offered ample space for everyone to spread out. The space had everything we could ask for! Unfortunately it was a wet weekend and we did not have a chance to make a fire / roast smores, however, we enjoyed so much more. We made our morning coffee and took the short walk to the waterfront to take in the surroundings while the sky was clear. Once back at the house, we were able to enjoy the outdoor space to the fullest - hot tub and there is a spacious pergola covering the patio set so we could sit outside to eat, play cards and stayed dry! And morning two, coffee on the front porch while rocking on the coziest of chairs. A great stay!

Jana was a great host! Very responsive and helpful. The cottage was exactly as the pictures showed and pristine. It was a fantastic location to enjoy all that the White Mountains have to offer. Close to ski mountains, restaurants, Conway and North Conway and the enterance to the Kangamangus yet in a serene setting set back from the road. We will definitely be returning to enjoy this cottage in the warm weather as well!

Spent a weekend here in April with our two kids. it snowed 2 inches! We enjoyed cozying up in the house with wood burning stove, lots of games and puzzles and the record player. House was very well appointed with nice views of the lake. Most local businesses were closed at this time of year but could drive to wolfeboro for a fun day out.

Good place to stay lots of beds in a small footprint. Burners on the stove never got hot enough for me to cook my dinner or boil more than a cup of water but other than that everything worked great and check in and out was painless.

Perfect getaway! This place was pristine and everything we needed. Beautiful views and plenty of places to eat and explore in the area.

Alex was very communicative from the start and gave easy to follow instructions. The place itself was exactly as advertised. The inside decor was great, everything was tidy and all the beds were very comfortable. The insides offered enough space for a few people to comfortable hang out without losing the appeal of a cozy get-away. Fire pit outside was great and the the little creek behind the house was really pretty and made for a good atmosphere. Absolutely wonderful stay and would definitely recommend.

Marcela and Josh were amazing hosts. The space was awesome, they were flexible with our arrival and departure times from the property which was a major stress relief. We had such a great time and definitely will be back next time we’re in the area!

Great little getaway! Nick and Tanya’s place was perfect for our family of 3. Super cozy, clean, and comfortable with everything we could have needed. Communication was stellar from booking to check out. Definitely recommend!

Basic and Beautiful cabin on the lake. Perfect. Great for canoeing, we saw lots of loons …. magical ! Recommend the “Loon Center” small lovely nature center dedicated to loons - nice hiking trails. Host is very responsive. Moultonboro is a lovely area.

This was our second time as a family staying. This place just just magical. The quiet, the view and memories made are forever in my heart. We love the location on the lake. We cannot wait to come back for round 3!!! It's just perfect!

This is my second stay at Isabel's and its always a pleasure. She is a very attentive and responsive host. If you ever have any needs, she is always quick to do whatever she can to make your stay a great one. She is a wonderful host! Would definitely recommend and I plan to be back next winter.

Melissa tailors her home for the perfect experience. The house is decorated to feel like a home and is full of cute, rustic lake house decor. We especially loved sitting on the porch or by the fire pit. The house is well-stocked with everything we needed. Plus, Melissa provides great recommendations for where to go around town during the day and where to eat. Overall, a great place to enjoy nature and the nearby lake.

The house was well appointed and had everything we needed. It is located in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood. Etoile was easy to communicate with and we were impressed at how well stocked the kitchen was. We cooked at home both nights and had a wonderful time with family and friends. Thank you!

This was our third stay at the Carrigain House and will not be the last. Great for our large grew with plenty of room for everyone to have their own space and also hang together when they want. House is clean and well stocked with everything you could need. Great location to the mountain!

I Stayed for the month of May for work purposes. Excellent location quick access to 93 and Laconia/Tilton, restaurants, shops, Walmart all 5mins away. It’s beautiful with water just 15ft from the porch, Wake up and catch the sunrise over the mountains and onto the lake! You’ll be glad you did every morning. Interior of the cottage is well set up, well stocked (K cups and even a new thing of cream in the fridge). Trash pick up on site. Excellent fridge, and stove. Hosts are friendly and amicable, they respond quickly to any needs. I’ve stayed several places in the area this year and absolutely adored my stay here. Gives the middle of nowhere feeling while being right in the heart of everything. I highly recommend!
