Keep it simple at this peaceful cabin in the woods on County Rd 550! Just steps away from the legendary Phil's 550 Store and 3 miles from downtown Marquette. This stunning single bedroom property can sleep up to 4 guests, with 1 queen bed and a memory foam sofa bed in the living space. We have two cabins available for a total of 8 guests, rent them both! There are so many sites to see within miles of Grandma's House. Though this home was built in the late 1800s, you will immediately feel the warmth and comfort of a modern day living experience.

Quiet, residential neighborhood, conveniently located for day trips in either direction - Picture Rocks in Munising or up to the Copper Country. 12 miles from Marquette, easy walk to supermarket and public sand beach. About a mile to antique shopping, restaurants, bars, Iron Ore Heritage Trail for biking or hiking and mega RAMBA Trails.

Chocolay River Cabin

Small hand hewn log cabin on Chocolay River. Good fishing, approximately 5 miles from snowmobile and ORV trails. Full kitchen. 1 BR (Q), Full sofa sleeper and 1 bath. Outdoor electric sauna. A fire pit. Washer/dryer. Basic amenities. Full kitchen. There is WiFi but cell service can be very sketchy. Texting does seem to work ok. We do have a cell phone booster there but it still isn’t great. If you need to make a call you can drive about 1 mile out to US 41 and service is good.

Yellow Dog Yurt - Peace and Quiet near Marquette

Located 25 minutes north of Marquette, our yurt is simple and rustic without electricity and a woodstove is the only heat source. We provide bedding, water in buckets, a simple kitchen, a battery pack for string lights, and a sauna for warming the bones. We encourage and cater to silent-sport type of guests as we have kind and close neighbors on all sides. No shooting, loud off road vehicles, etc. are permitted. - Wood heat only - Outhouse toilet - Limited parking

Guests have huge walk in shower and full bathroom amenities. Kitchen features Large island for entertainment purposes, full stove, oven and large fridge freezer option. This space has been remodeled in its entirety august 2021.

The Sugar Shack

🌿The Sugar Shack is a cozy 12x12 rustic cabin tucked into 40 Acres of Northwoods and located 17 miles north of Marquette. Hidden in the foothills of the Huron Mountains, you will be in close proximity to our best hiking trails, waterfalls and beaches. The little town of Big Bay is nearby with a general store, fuel, bar, cafe and restaurant.
