The perfect relaxing cabin. A short drive from gorgeous wineries and a quick walk to a beautiful hiking trail where we found over 12 mushroom species. Highly recommend this host!

Beautiful place! Second time I’ve stayed and they are always super friendly! They make sure you aren’t having any issues especially if there is any change in the weather.

Truly luxury cabin in a beautiful forest 10 min away from Carbondale, IL. You can feel everything in this cabin was done with love. Everything is just right, the kitchen, the bedroom the porch even a back porch with a table and a hot tub. There is a very nice 25-min trail going around the property. As you walk the trail you don’t see any neighbors so you have a feel of a deep forest. We stayed with a dog and appreciated the front porch and a hose to wash her paws. This place truly felt like home. Our big thanks to the owners who found this place and built these cabins. And of course big thanks to the host Alison who manages the property and makes it easy for visitors like us. Great job guys!

We love hiking so we visited the Garden of the Gods, the Little Grand Canyon and the Giant City Nature Trail. This cabin is in a great location for visiting the Shawnee National Forest and perfect place to unwind after a day of hiking. The grill for making dinner was so clean, as well as the hot tub for relaxing. Also a fire pit out back. The kitchen had everything you could need. Shampoo and conditioner were also provided. This is by far the best Airbnb I have visited, HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! We had a great time :)

Our group of long time friends had a great time there. The house is great and had lots of amenities. Very roomy and had one of the best stocked kitchens I’ve seen for a rental. We enjoyed the game room, fire pit and large deck. We would definitely rent there again! The host is quick to respond to any questions we had.

This was my first airb&b and I absolutely loved it!! It was perfect for a getaway weekend for my husband’s birthday and we had a blast! Everything was clean, and very cute. The hot tub was perfect on a rainy weekend!! It rained the whole stay but we had a break in the storm and decided to jump in for a minute. We will definitely be back!!!

My son and I very much enjoyed our stay. Both Jill and Danny were very responsive to any of our questions, and we really loved the trail that we were able to access for our private use. The animals were so much fun to be around.

I REALLY ENJOYED THIS PROPERTY. IT IS IN A GREAT AREA AND I LOVED THE UNIQUENESS OF THE BUILDING. LARRY WAS AWESOME.

We enjoyed the beautiful wide porch with lots of bird sitings and the small lake with lots of turtles sunning themselves. Very peaceful!

Quaint little cabin in a very quiet area, but close to Carbondale IL. Place was very clean, easy to find and exactly as described. Great place for price! Would definitely stay again.

Home was exactly as as described. We loved sitting on the front porch, enjoying a cup of coffee in the morning. Definitely will stay here again.

AWESOME people and place, some of the amenities weren’t ready to use but as far as the cabin that you stay in and the owners were incredible! Great location if you’re doing anything in Advance. They went the extra mile to accommodate traveling duck hunters. Will definitely stay again when I’m in Advance!

The house is exactly the way its described and more! I'm actually at a loss for words! I can't describe what an amazing location, cabin and host we had for our stay. Very clean and comfortable! It was our first rental and our host Nikki was more helpful than anyone could ask for! It's close to some great lakes, trails and only a few minutes from anything you might need during your stay. And don't feel bad if you drive by the driveway your first time by. lol

Larry was very responsive and accommodating. Checked to make sure we were able to get in and that our stay was going smoothly. Everything was as described with special touches added to make sure we felt right at home during our stay. We were pleasantly surprised when Larry’s wife dropped off a delicious fresh baked good. We will definitely be staying with them again.

My sister and I were attending an event at the University with my daughter and found this jewel ❤️. The place was perfect for us and we loved the peaceful quiet of being in the country! Everything was perfect, especially the towels! They let me know where they got them 😉 We highly recommend!

I've stayed here a number of times when spending the weekend at Kinkaid. They make things easy and take great care of their property and cabins.

It is an older cabin in the woods. Very nice and quiet. We were able to swim and fish in the pond. The kids had a blast catching the bluegill and bass. The pond has a sand beach. We will come stay in some of the other cabins in the future. Tom was always easy to speak to. We did not have any issues that we needed Tom to address.

Larry's place was in great shape, easy to get in, clean and information provided about local sights and restaurants provided. Pictures and description were accurate. We would definitely book this rental again. The cottage was 7-8 miles from downtown Murpheysboro via small country roads. Not a complaint, just a fact. Kids, don't leave your GPS enabled device at home. Jerry
