I loved this place, it was an amazing home away from home that I could enjoy and relax after a mentally busy day. Jeanette was amazing in making sure my needs were met. I loved it so much I’m coming back to stay for 2 weeks.

Super clean. Comfortable bed and furnishings. Well equipped kitchen and great location. Host was very responsive and attended to every detail. We had a wonderful weekend.

Everything was wonderful, beautiful home and spacious. I met Allen when I pulled up and he told me about the home how it was 100 years old and how I used to be several places. and Adam help me with the lock and everything went smooth. Even when the siren went off at 4:50am on Sunday and starting me out the bed there was still a peace and calm lol. The area is beautiful and I would recommend.

I enjoyed my stay at this beautiful historical home. Channing is an excellent host. She was always very proactive in helping me and responsive in communication. She would bring me snacks and cookies, also recommended places to go see and places to eat The neighborhood is peaceful. The space includes everything you need: laundry washer and dryer, microwave, fridge and a cool induction burner that I cooked in meals with like a skillet. I recommend staying here for a peaceful and private place in a charming and historical neighborhood.

This was such a fun trip to Urbanna! The apartment was great and we even visited Shawn’s oyster bar and had an enjoyable chat with him. Would definitely visit again and highly recommend his special spot!

OK, Cindy‘s unit was by far the best one bedroom unit that I have stayed in. It is the second best unit I’ve stayed in overall! It was squeaky clean, very cozy and inviting, very quiet, and it was good for sleeping and relaxing.If you have the opportunity to book this unit, don’t hesitate! I will say there are a number of stairs in order to get into the unit, but other than that wow, simply wow!

Steff’s place had all the right touches, from the soft comfy bedding to the Nintendo console. It felt like home, cozy and comfortable. The amenities were very thoughtful, especially the bacon & eggs as well as pizzas in the fridge. Definitely recommend and would stay again.

Robert’s place was great! I ended up extending twice and would have extended longer if not for the fact it was already booked. The place is great, just like described. Friendly, honest guy and very responsive. If you are lucky to find it open don’t hesitate to reserve it. Again, Robert. Thanks for hosting me! Ronald.

My family of five stayed for 4 nights. As a mom and the one in charge of making sure everyone has everything, it was so nice to not have to worry about the simple little things like shampoo, conditioner, trash bags etc, this house has it all including coffee and snacks! The house is beautifully decorated and the beds are super comfy. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you, Thomas for making this trip that much easier for this tired Mom.

A spacious home by the water. We celebrated Thanksgiving at this location and it was very special. The views are beautiful, had a fire right by the water and relaxed by the beach. A perfect getaway with family and friends. It has everything you need, the living room is super comfortable and great to relax with the family. The kitchen was spacious making it easy to cook and entertain the family. We loved the hot tub, playing pool and having family dinner. Overall a fabulous experience!! Great host- great communication. Highly recommend

I went to Deltaville to work on my boat and Tom's place Is a cozy place to come home to at night. We'll be coming back again soon.

Linda’s place was probably the best BNB we have ever stayed in. It was well equip with everything we needed to stay. It is comparable to traveling and staying with family. I could have packed only clothes and been taken care of. It also was VERY clean. I don’t think I saw a hair or spec of dust left behind.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Oyster House. The home was beautifully decorated & in a very peaceful location. Had everything we needed and more. Our pups loved the big yard! Highly recommended and would definitely stay again.

This is the perfect home base to explore charming Cape Charles! The location simply can’t be beat - one block in one direction to the beach and one block in the other to the quaint downtown area with shops and restaurants. We never used the car once while there - such a nice change of pace! The house is also so roomy and comfortable, gets beautiful light, and is well stocked with everything you might need! We especially enjoyed sitting on the front porch rocking chairs and watching the world go by. Highly recommend - will definitely come back!

We loved this place! We have stayed in Cape Charles many times and this is one of our favorite places. The beach chairs are a nice touch and the place was very clean. Plenty of space for the entire family and the master bed was extremely comfortable.

Great location for what we needed, close to all options of food and grocery. Only 6 minutes from Boo Williams facility which was perfect. Quiet neighborhood with really nice neighbors. Ideal set up to have our dog with us as well. Loved BuckRoe Beach which was only 10 minutes away. We will be back!

I have nothing but positives to say about this place, the location, and Merlyn, it was all just perfect! From the clear, friendly and helpful instructions prior to arrival, the sign greeting us in the parking lot saying "Welcome Teigre family", to discovering that there was coffee in the kitchen for us in the morning (we weren't sure about this, but that's really great when you get in really late the night before), to our boys playing ball on the beach (beach toys available in the gym), my wife and I enjoying our coffee on the beach in the morning, to our friendly chat as we bumped into Rick & Merlyn, the hosts, all through to our check-out. Driving downtown was a 20 minute easy drive, we spent quite a bit of our time there, so it was nice to stay at a place on the beach. If we ever come back to Norfolk, VA, we would love to stay here again and we can highly recommend it and its wonderful hosts for anyone who comes to the area!

We had a wonderful stay in Cape Charles. We loved being able to just walk out the door and have lots of shops and restaurants just a few steps away. The kitchen was gorgeous and the beds were very comfortable. We especially enjoyed the outdoor deck area. What a great spot to stay in this cute town!

Great place to stay and enjoy the Virginia Beach area! The suite was spotless and very well decorated. Nice outdoor space, and even a balcony to enjoy the sunshine. Loved the quick walk to the beach (She even had some great books available that we took advantage of)!The host was very gracious and kind and our stay was seamless . Just a helpful suggestion: it needed a few more basic items like additional hand towels/kitchen towel ( one was not enough for us three girls), and another accessible mirror for getting ready would be super helpful! Besides that, we all agreed that we would come back for sure! Thank you for a great stay!
