Watch and pet our friendly animals from the cottage and experience some of the best star gazing in New Zealand from our beautiful hot tub. During your stay we offer a free animal tour of 1 hour, whereby you will visit some of our friendly animals incl bottle feeding our pet lambs (Aug-Dec), an Alpaca walk 🦙, and our friendly horses, cats, dogs and chickens 🥰

A peaceful little retreat nestled near the base of the Southern Alps mountains on a 100-acre farm within walking distance to the heart of Fox Glacier township - perfect for couples and solo travellers looking for a cosy and comfortable stay. The space features a double bed, tea and coffee-making facilities and a porch with fire pit. The bathroom is a short walk away and is shared with other guests from the second pod. Guests also have complimentary access to our Panoramic Outdoor Barrel Sauna.

Takutai Seaside Beach House

Magical beach house meters from the beach, 3 elegant bedrooms, spacious character-filled lounge and modern kitchen/dining area all designed with larger families or couples travelling together. A quiet and private oasis overlooking native bush on our farm in Banks Peninsula. A unique, off the grid experience in our warm (centrally heated) and luxurious, brand new caravan. Gaze at the stars in your own little paradise whilst soaking in our private outdoor bath and/or enjoy exploring the spectacular bays around Banks Peninsula. Our 1/2 acre section is fully fenced so that your pet (if bringing) can roam freely. Even though we are off grid, we have great internet access (fast WIFI).

Super chill little Retro Hut, so cute! Independent, self sufficient, private. Double Bed (snug) above the cab and a single bed downstairs. Spring water plumbed in and mains power and heater. Pots and pans etc and board games to play. Super funky toilet block and spacious shower room just a short walk away on lush lawns. Gorgeous rural outlook. Ocean 1min drive away. Akaroa 20mins. No WiFi but excellent coverage on Spark network, average on Vodafone.
