This place was AMAZING. It was so clean. The kitchen was fully stocked to cook all of our meals at home. It is very spacious and what a plus to have three toilets. It was only 50 minutes from Hooker Valley Track with a gorgeous scenic drive. We had a gorgeous sunset and sunrise. The horses behind the yard were a pulse - gorgeous to watch and one of the days they actually trotted over to us. 10/10 would absolutely recommend to a friend and would gladly stay again!

Well equipped kitchen, awesome BBQ, spacious and comfortable, homy house. Friendly and responsive host. Lovely fireplace in the living room with good fire wood outside.

This was our first holiday with our dog who is 15 months old. The house is totally set up for dogs and humans alike. Daniel was great to deal with and made us feel at home from the beginning. You can feel this classic holiday home is loved by its Owners and we appreciated that they shared their holiday home with us. Well equipped, great outlook and close to amenities. Would come here again as it worked so well and we felt so welcome. The fire is awesome on a cold day/night.

Clean and tidy! Well organized and good communication. Loved the 2 showers so no need to wait;) Springfield doesn’t have options for dinner, but there’s a nice coffee spot across the road. Would recommend this place!

Gaye was friendly and responsive. We arrived early and he was flexible and allowed us to check in early. This was our last night before heading back to Christchurch. It was a restful stay.

Well the pictures instantly appealed- but it’s much larger in real life. The accessibility for me of being able to check in at 9pm was very helpful and as I had a lot of gear with me having the door at the front was very useful for loading and unloading. The details in the memrobilia were very interesting and yet a classic collection that was visually appealing A very classy apartment. Also much warmer and quieter that I had expected.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The space was immaculately clean and the beds were amazingly comfortable. The host was incredibly responsive and thoughtful. Perfect location with epic views across to Mt Hutt. Would definitely book again! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

What a lovely spot. we really enjoyed our stay. The house is full of thoughtful touches like coffee options, snuggly blankets and lots of cushions, that make things just that bit more comfy and relaxing. The view and location is great, nice a quite whilst still close to the city. Friendly hosts, of the human, canine and feline varieties!

We had a couple of minor issues, but Devon went out of her way to help rectify the problem and that was very much appreciated. The apartments are lovely and very conveniently located, with lift access to the ground floor and basement car park.

Second time we’ve stayed here while visiting Hanmer with family, and another great place to stay. Very close to downtown and the water park. Only shortfall is dishes, glasses and cups are very limited, so you’ll need to hand wash before you come close to filling the dishwasher. Hand to believe they don’t stock more than six of each item.

Maree hosts a fantastic, beautiful, comfortable renovated villa home in a superb location that remains private and serene. She was a great host and I could not recommend staying here highly enough.

Elizabeth’s place was nothing short of amazing. The entire place was spotless and we loved the rustic vibes of the cottage. Both bedrooms were thoughtfully furnished and had more than sufficient heating in winter. The living room was large and spacious, just a wonderful space for 4 adults to gather. Kitchen utensils were extremely clean and new as well! The surroundings of the cottage was extremely peaceful, a wonderful place on the patio to stargaze too. The cottage sits in the middle of an expansive estate, good for a quiet evening stroll. We loved that Elizabeth’s place was near a few wineries and just a short drive to the supermarket in Amberley. Elizabeth was friendly, responsive and left easy to follow instructions regarding her cottage. My friends and I had a really great time there! Dusty the dog was a bonus for us! He was super friendly and playful. A joy to be around! We definitely recommend the place!

This home is in a beautiful and serene setting. It was about 1.5h from Christchurch airport and was the perfect antidote to the craziness of flying. At night, the only thing we could hear was the breeze and the gentle rain. I’d love to stay for a week. Annie was incredibly friendly and the welcome basket with homemade granola was tops. The basket also included potato chips made from the potatoes grown on the property! The kitchen was amazingly well stocked and my kid got to try Milo for the first time.

Thanks so much, Steve. This is an absolute gem of a place, you couldn't want for more! Very cosy with the huge fireplace, every kitchen utensil you could possibly need, spacious rooms. Wow... That was our main word for this stay. The location and view was incredible. It instantly felt like a real relaxing getaway. We noticed some issues around cleanliness that I will share directly with the host so that they are aware, as this place deserves the best! The hot tub was an absolute highlight. Such a friendly and responsive host to chat to online. We had a fabulous time here and we definitely hope to return to this oasis on the hill!

Lovely house in a great position to walk everywhere and enjoy everything Hanmer Springs has to offer. It had a bit less outdoor space than we were expecting but this didn’t stop us from enjoying a BBQ! The kitchen is very well equipped and it’s a lovely sociable space. The beds were huge and bathrooms spotless. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
