Cheese Maker's Cottage

Historical 1930's cabin. Once the home of the resident cheese maker. Restored to suit the style of the time. Situated on a cattle property in the picturesque McPherson Ranges. Has a fishing dam closeby. Sits below Mt. Edinburgh Castle. The property is part of the ancient Gondwana rain forest. From Woodenbong, take Glennie Street, becomes Boomi Creek Road, keep on the sealed road at the Brumby Creek turn. Travel a further approx 6km. Our place is not suited to young children. A king bed with ensuite, separate shower & bath make up the loft bedroom. Downstairs features a second bathroom / laundry, fire place, lounge, study & self inflating bed (inflatable bed linen not included), dining & fully equipped kitchen before walking onto a large deck overlooking the rainforest.

FernyBrook Cottage is located right next to Purling Brook Falls and the walking trails and magnificent views of Springbrook World Heritage National Park. It is a quaint and cosy, timber-lined, mountain chalet-style cottage, set amongst peaceful rain-forest gardens, with its beautiful babbling brook providing a haven for bird life and nature study. The Cottage is fully self contained, has a cosy wood fire (wood supplied), reverse cycle air conditioning and a comfy queens-sized bed upstairs.
