The Stag Hut

The quite scenic side of Loch but half way between Inverness and Fort Augustus, so lots to see and do. Visit the Falls of Foyers and access the South Loch Ness Trail. Own transport advisable.

We are close to the beautiful National Nature Reserve of Glen Affric and a short drive from Loch Ness. Our eco micro-lodges have been a constructed using locally sourced timber and have turf roof. They are set in the wild meadow adjoining our house. Located in the small rural village of Cannich, they are a perfect base from which to explore the great outdoors.

Secluded Ptarmigan Yurt

For the first time since we installed it we are opening for the winter months as there are a lot of people around and the weather at the moment is quite warm. To do this we have installed a small oil heater which will keep the temperature up even when the fire is not lit. Once you light the fire it will be really cosy and warm. There is also an electric blanket on the bed for those colder nights. We do reserve the right to move you to the house if the weather becomes inclement.

Glasha Grove is a self contained tranquil wood cabin with views of open countryside, situated 1 mile from Tomich village (5 miles from Cannich). We are 6 miles from the beautiful Glen Affric and 2 miles from Plodda Falls. Making this an idea location for walkers. Owners live in house next door, so are often available if necessary.

The Smithy - A Highland Hideaway

A recently completed barn conversion, The Smithy is now a spacious but cosy one bedroom cottage set in a rural idyll near Loch Ness and only 3 miles off the North Coast 500 route. You can enjoy private access through a shared garden and we have free parking available on the drive. Unfortunately we cannot accept pets.
