Canandaigua Lake: soggiorni in alloggi con kayak

Our group (4 adults) was staying overnight for an event the next day, and it worked very well for our needs. It is easy to get to and the town was quiet and had very little traffic. The living space was recently remodeled and was very comfortable and clean. The kitchen was nice and allowed us to cook dinner and breakfast easily. I am a bit sensitive to fragrances, so the detergent or softener used on the bed linens bothered me at night, but no one else had any trouble with them, and everything was clean. Bathroom was well stocked and has a vent so it doesn't get too steamy. The only major issue I had is that I'm around 6'2" and the shower head was all the way down by my chin, and my head was almost entirely above the curtain. The tub is also quite a bit narrower than it looks in the pictures, with nothing to hold on to for balance. This makes for a really slow and awkward shower for anyone over 6 feet, but I managed. Host was great! Overall, we enjoyed our stay!

Loved the place! The sunset view by the lake with a fire will remain in my heart. Russell was very kind with several sweet gifts. He is a great host!

Lori's place was perfect for our annual visit to the Finger Lakes. She has thought of everything to make your stay comfortable- the beds are some of the most comfortable we've stayed in. The kitchen is well appointed with pots, pans, cooking utensils, and we were able to make breakfast every morning before heading out to the wineries- there is even a wine cooler for our favorite white wines! The weather was perfect, and we had our coffee on the back deck every morning by the lake, and enjoyed a blazing fire every night! This area offers so much to do and see, and Lori's place is a great location providing waterfront comfort, and close to the wineries and restaurants. We were able to visit Mackenzie Childs, do a free house tour, then shop in the store- highly recommended! We also went to Skaneateles for some fun girls shopping, took the boat tour, and visited Anyelas winery for live music with a beautiful view! Lori's place is perfect for visiting this area, we give it 5 stars!

This Airbnb was the perfect fall getaway! We visited the lake to soak in the autumn vibes, and this spot exceeded our expectations. There was plenty of room for our group of five, and the host’s recommendations made our trip even better. While the area is known for summer fun, I think fall might be the best time to visit. We had an amazing time exploring the charming shops, cozy restaurants, and stunning waterfront spots, plus the nearby vineyards are a must-see. Can’t wait to return next year when the leaves are changing again—absolutely loved our stay!

My family and I attended our niece's wedding nearby in Victor. There were 10 of us staying, so we needed a place to stay that could accommodate all of us. Serenity Shores was perfect. Plenty of room, peaceful, beautiful view of the lake, spacious enough for all of us to get ready for the wedding. Then such a relaxing place to hang out and rest for a couple of days before heading home. The only issue we had was there only being a spiral staircase between upstairs and downstairs. My 84 year old mother was with us and couldn't do the spiral staircase. Upstairs is level with the driveway/parking, but with the kitchen being downstairs, it was better for her to stay down there. It worked out, there is a path that goes down a hill on the outside of the house to a patio and sliding doors. The path is loose stone, so we held on to mom while she walked down. It wasn't much of a problem, Mom loved the place. Just an FYI. Bottom line, 5 stars. Our family made some great memories.

Nous avons passé le weekend de Thanksgiving en famille chez Noah. La maison est très agréable et paisible directement sur le lac. Il y a tous les équipements nécessaires et le logement était très propre. Nous recommandons vivement la maison et reviendrons avec plaisir l’été pour profiter du lac !

Due time was a great choice for the Finger Lakes. House was even better than we expected and well appointed. Would love to stay in the summer when we could take advantage of all the amenities. As it was it was perfect for our family Easter Break wine tour. Definitely would stay here again!!

Beautiful place to host a girls weekend!!

Jason’s cozy bungalow had everything we were looking for in a quick weekend getaway from Rochester- quiet and peaceful setting with a view of Honeyoye Lake at the end of the street, a perfectly appointed kitchen, and all the little details we loved about the listing. I can imagine it’s even better in the summer! The home was spotless when we arrive so we could get right to relaxing. Definitely recommend .

We had a wonderful stay. Lucas‘s house was very clean and had plenty of supplies. There was plenty of room for five of us. It never felt crowded. The view of the lake was beautiful. Sitting out by the fire-pit at night was nice. The neighborhood was very quiet. Lucas was great at communicating. We loved our stay!

My husband and I stayed at Stephanie & Kishan's adorable cottage while visiting family for the weekend. The cottage is well cared for, has a beautiful big deck (which we couldn't use due to the rain). It's very quiet and in a great location for all of the areas activities. We hope to come back again soon and get to enjoy the lake and area. Next time we are hopeful for sunshine.

We had a wonderful time during our stay at Dustin's place. It was peaceful, scenic, and offered plenty of activities to enjoy. Despite the cold weather, our kids loved kayaking, using the water tubes, and having a barbecue — all conveniently available on-site, so we didn’t need to bring anything with us. We also didn’t experience any sulfur smell, contrary to what some other reviews mentioned. We would love to visit again and highly recommend this place!

The location was perfect to attend a wedding at Fountainbleu Inn (just a short walk to venue). Also, the location next to lake was wonderful. We had plenty of bedrooms with linens/towels and extras like trash bags, paper towels, toiletries, dish soap etc was very nice. The kitchen had what we needed to cook for 10+ people, except crock pot and griddle (which we brought from home). We enjoyed the hot tub and used the propane grill on the large deck. The owner stays close by and was in communication often.

What a fantastic place! Perfect for our family! Franks had alll the amenities we needed at the right price! Lakefront, plenty of space, boats to play in, and a hot tub with a great view!!!!!

What a wonderful getaway! The lake cabin, fire pit and lake views were perfect and exactly what we needed. It was quiet this time of year and the view of the falls leaves on the mountain were stunning! The cabin was clean and well-stocked. Communication was a breeze and the hosts lovely! We were so glad for this gem of a place and owners.

My husband and I went for R & R, and The Bear Camp was perfect! The first thing you see when you open the door is the lake! The views are incredible! While it is relatively small(1 bedroom), it lives large. There are multiple decks with places to sit and an open floor plan inside. The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed. We went in October and enjoyed the fall foliage. We would highly recommend The Bear Camp! One note of caution: there are stairs from road to cabin and from cabin to lake

Great little spot by beautiful Lake Conesus. Convenient location, the space was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed for a few day stay! Donald was great with communication and quick to respond when we needed the heat turned on. Recommended!

My time here was very relaxing and worthwhile! The cabin was cute, cozy, and the land was beautiful. I loved sitting by the pond and having my morning coffee. If you walk to the edge of the woods in the morning, you can see spectacular sunrises because of how high in the valleys you are. I came during spring before things bloomed, but I would totally come here again during the fall or summer.

We have stayed here two times and both times were just so amazing. I would recommend this stay to literally anyone looking to stay in this area. Perry and Lindsay are so helpful and so communicative.

Lynda’s place looked just like the photos. Very clean and nicely decorated with great amenities. I loved the personal touches with the fresh flowers and welcome basket. It was very peaceful with beautiful view of the lake. Even though it was a little chilly and rainy during our visit we still got to sit outside on the dock and enjoy the views. We would definitely book again!

Great spot, very clean, well furnished / stocked. If renting make sure to note they do not provide linens or towels, which I found a bit unusual for a water front rental, but it is clear in the listing. Would happily rent again.

The red cabin was great for a weekend getaway for our family of 5, plus our pup! We had so much fun fishing and taking the kayaks for a peaceful cruise down the river! The house was very cozy! The kitchen & bathroom were equipped with everything we needed. The board games were great & came in handy when we had a rainy day. We had a great stay! Thanks, Christina!!
