What a dream it was to stay at this lovely cottage! So cute & cozy with a beautiful outdoor space that we were welcome to explore. Got to meet a couple of Michele’s retrievers our first evening when she came to greet us, which was a treat. Relaxing outside the cottage was such a magical experience with birds chirping, deer grazing, and a cat wandering around seeking pets. The property is also right next to the Mount Parke Regional Park which we enjoyed a spontaneous hike around. We got a chance to walk over to Mayne Island Brewing on Sunday for a couple of beers and to stock up for our visit. We also did our grocery shopping at the Farm Gate Store just down the road from the property and made most of our meals at the cottage. In the evenings we tucked into the VHS and DVD collection which was so fun & nostalgic! Thanks so much, Michele! We hope to be back in the future :)

I came to the tiny seaside retreat looking for a beautiful place where I could disconnect from my life and get started on writing a novel, and I wasn't disappointed! It was perfect: cozy home, beautiful views and a great host to help me throughout my stay! Lauri was super responsive and helpful whenever I needed anything. The place was big enough for my needs and well stocked with everything you could ask for. I was nervous about the loft bedroom with the low ceilings, but I can honestly say I've never slept better in my life. I was grateful for the option of the fold out bed downstairs but didn't end up using it. Sitting out on the decks and writing each day while looking out over the water was heaven. I got to see one of the resident otters! I will definitely be a return visitor... I'm already planning it! Thanks so much for being so awesome, Lauri!

It's a nice, cozy, and well-built tiny home. And if all you need is a place to sleep and set up base then this is a great choice. You'll need to use the ladder to get to the bed. It may not be suitable for everyone, but it's very comfortable. The only odd design is the bathroom/shower. It's mostly quiet (slight car noise from the road), and it's pretty private. There's a beach 15 minutes walking distance where you can watch a beautiful sunset. I highly recommend staying here :)

Reg was welcoming and the cabin was well stocked with quality soaps, dishes, coffee, etc. The sauna was a treat

Our cozy little apartment was perfect to break up the long drive on the highway. The added bonus of the delicious restaurant right next was a real gift. That is the best italian meal I have had since my trip to italy. Thanks so much!

This was such a great place to stay at!! We went here for our wedding anniversary, and we both felt that we had a chance to relax, detox a bit from the city life, and came home happy 😁 Joshua & Jessica are amazing hosts, had a chance to meet them, they really make you feel right at home. 110% would recommend and will be coming back. And yes, their dog is amazing as everyone else says.

Incredibly place to relax and unwind…. All the extra touches to an already stunning view made this a place to never want to leave. The cottage was perfectly cleaned and stocked and the hosts were kind and responsive. Will be back.

Right from check-in, Elspeth made us feel at home. The friendly message and instructions helped us to get in easily after a long day on the road. The tiny house was well-equipped with everything we needed for the stay and extremely clean. The homemade bread was a lovely touch as well! It was great to have the opportunity to get out on the lake in the canoe to gain a new perspective of the area before hitting the road. We enjoyed learning more about the area and the donkeys from Elspeth as well.

Devin’s place is a little piece of paradise. We fell asleep each night to the sound of the frogs. Very clean, spacious and comfy! Devin is also very helpful with the checkin/checkout process and available should you need him. Loved our stay!

Absolutely amazing accommodation as well as owner going to great lengths to help out with additional needs. Couldn’t ask for a more peaceful and relaxing space while I was attending a training course. Time to unwind and enjoy the hot tub with a spacious and comfortable accommodation. Bed was super comfy with plenty of pillows as well as shower being top notch. Thank you ☺️

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming and cozy cabin near Bragg Creek, and I couldn't be happier with my experience. The hot tub was a fantastic feature, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. There is an awesome little fire pit as well as a bbq. The surroundings were incredibly quiet, providing a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The bed was super comfortable, The Host was exceptionally accommodating, ensuring that all our needs were met with a friendly and welcoming attitude. Additionally, the cabin's location was ideal, just a short distance from the stores in Bragg Creek, making it convenient for any necessities or a quick shopping trip. Highly recommended for a serene and enjoyable getaway!

Very accommodating. Worked well with me to switch reservation without any issues. Booked for someone else as a gift and was easy for everyone with communication.

Le calme total. Beau petit chalet avec tout ce qu'il faut pour cuisiner. SPA très bien entretenu ainsi que le BBQ. Le Frigo est petit ainsi que le congélo mais notre glacière combiné à ces deux appareils ont été parfait pour séjour de 5 jours. Apporter de l'eau pour cuisiner et pour boire. bien que l'eau du puits soit testée, l'odeur de souffre est quand même forte. Fanny est une super hôte.

We loved staying at Mike's place! The pond was gorgeous and fed by a spring with the clearest water- the dock was so peaceful to sit on and relax. The sauna was a very cool added bonus that my husband and I very much enjoyed! There were a variety of yard games and board games to play as well. The place was clean and comfy and had everything we needed for a secluded, private weekend to disconnect from the world. We loved it!

Melanie's bed was the comfiest bed I've ever stayed on all of the airbnbs we've stayed :) The tiny home had everything we need even a full kitchen! Even has some netflix, a nice couch, and a cute little shower room. We ended upstaying for a night before we hiked the Tiny Hut Cabin. This place is close to the ferry and about 20mins to Wallmart too. Melanie was very quick to responding too. Thank you Melanie. We still want to know where you got your bed! hehe

Karina’s tiny home was everything I had hoped for. There’s a beautiful view of the mountain on both sides. It was cozy, clean, tasteful and functional. I enjoyed filming for my food blog with the natural light spilling from every window. Communication with the host was easy and gracious, Karina recommended seasonal activities to explore nearby like the Agassiz tulip festival and It was truly lovely. The experience was worth it and I would be excited at any chance to stay here again, especially in autumn.

Wonderful place to have a getaway. From the start to the end Anna was very welcoming to us and the handcrafted tiny home is a once in a lifetime experience. Location was very central to the city and provincial parks. Overall highly recommend!

We loved our time at the tiny home! The property that it sits on is incredibly beautiful, and we enjoyed our daily visits to the lake nearby. Our experience at Refuge Bay was truly amazing and precisely what we needed for rejuvenation and reconnection. I have experienced many glamping accommodations, but this particular location and its amenities surpassed all expectations. The sauna was impressive, and we thoroughly enjoyed brewing Nespresso coffees, gathering around the fire, and stargazing with binoculars. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the entire space was exceptionally well-equipped, with thoughtful consideration given to every possible need or desire. The host was highly responsive during the entire booking process and addressed any inquiries we had during our stay. We felt genuinely cared for throughout our experience. Their guest portal was a thoughtful addition, allowing us to explore the various add-ons available, and we appreciated the opportunity to personalize our getaway with a charcuterie board and a fresh floral arrangement. We can’t wait to go back and experience this place in different seasons!

Can't say enough about this lovely area. The friendliest, and most peacefull spot tucked off the main highway. The beach cabin had everything we needed and more! Thoughtfully decorated and hosted by Gisele. Would highly reccomend, and will absolutely come through again. Don't forget to grab a couple stickers on the way out!

Very cute, beautiful setting, quiet and peaceful. The place is tiny so really only suitable for 1 adult and maybe a small child. Bed is a futon and is reasonably comfortable if you put the extra mattress on top. Lovely little place with privacy and nice outdoor space to watch the sunset!
