Karch’s place is great! Private space, plenty of parking, and just the right amount of communication and thoughtfulness.

A big apartment with plenty of amenities. It really feels like home. Communication with the host was as smooth as possible. Strong Wi-Fi signal everywhere. A great vacation place. The only issue for some is that it is far from everything, without a car, restaurants, groceries, etc. are in reality out of reach, at least with a small child.

the space is huge! full living room, well equipped kitchen, dinning table, good size bathroom, cozy bedroom, access to weight room, and a private entrance. the moment I walked in I thought "too good to be true!" there was so much space and amenities that I felt like I was robbing them! Will definitely stay again if I need to!

Wanda was the absolute best! We’ve stayed at many places in Lynchburg over the years. The Acorn Hill Lodge will be our go to spot from now on. From the super amazing cozy king size bed, to the absolutely delicious made to order complementary breakfast to our pup being welcomed like a member of the family. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Oh, and the spa!!! My daughter had the full body hot stone massage and was in heaven!! This place is a must!!

Casey’s place was super clean and nicely decorated. Everything was just as described. Casey was quick to respond and very helpful when we had an issue with the tv. The complimentary waters and snacks were a nice touch! She even set an umbrella out for us when we were returning in a downpour. Above and beyond! Would definitely stay again!

Nancy and Don were AMAZING hosts! Their space was exactly as described and pictured! The whole place was AMAZING! HUGE space! I LOVED having a glass of wine and phenomenal conversation with the hosts! They are amazing people! They don't intrude on your privacy but are so hospitable you just WANT to hang out with them! If you're looking for TRUE companionship in Appomattox, and not the "local" cliques...... seek out Don and Nancy!

My crew absolutely loved staying here! This was perfect for our trip to Lynchburg. The home is comfortable, clean, and so much to do. My boys loved all the toys and games! We had such a relaxing evening!

My stay was very relaxing. The bed was very comfortable, although it is very high. The first couple of times I got up, I forgot to use the hand-built stairs at the end of the bed. Surprisingly, I landed on both feet! There are nicely placed plants and tons of interesting books, which added to the coziness of the bungalow.

Would 100% stay here again! Very tranquil and enjoyable stay

Great value for the money. Super friendly and flexible host. Clean. Has everything you need and more (a lot of snacks!). Terrific location. Downside is you stay in a basement, while it's well renovated, it's still a basement. There will be noise from upper level. It's not bad and it doesn't bother us. Just like the old days when we lived in an apartment... Bottom line - more bang for your bucks. Will consider this as our first option next time we stay in Lynchburg

A perfect private fully equipped apartment. Immaculately clean. You will love the backyard wooded area. Very much like a fully equipped cabin in the woods. The Lynchburg and surrounding areas have plenty to do. The host was amazing. Stay with Lori once and you will definitely want to return.
