The Story House

Between the lights of Portland and the slopes of Mt. Hood stands a whimsical woods of giant firs, feathery cedars and old mossy maples. Midst a maze of paths and ferns is a cozy cabin full of delightful art. Browse the uncommon birdhouses and their stories. Just steps outside the French doors is a lighted path to the bathhouse (the only bathroom) with toilet, shower, clawfoot tub and washer/dryer. Walk the paths, soak in the hot tub and end your day in the peace and quiet of a private cabin.

“The Guest Cottage” is above the garage & next to the main house on a 3 acre lot. Owners’ family lives next door. There’s a second Airbnb unit available to rent if you need room for more guests. Main space: queen bed, couch/TV & eating area. Kitchenette: microwave, mini fridge, toaster, toaster oven, coffee maker & tea pot. Full, private bathroom includes toilet, sink, & small shower. 3 mini rooms: 1 twin bed & desk each. Porta crib, hot tub, backyard, & covered pavilion available upon request.
