They each have their separate entrances, so they won't be in your space. Please respect their privacy as they would yours.

Witklip Cottage

Our unpretentious Karoo destination is a place to change gears and experience the charms of a dorper farm: open plains, rocky- & rolling hills, vivid sunsets and our own stream - sometimes even with water. Farm-trails take hikers up close and personal with Karoo nature and Karoo agriculture. At night, the clear unobstructed sky hosts Milky Way magic. The cottage has a fridge, solar geyser & power (220VAC), gas stove, indoor braai-fireplace and ¾-bed for a third person or two small children.

The White House is a typical old sandstone house in the town of Nieuwoudtville. Situated on the edge of town it offers a farmlike atmosphere with modern amenities. The house was renovated and offers a perfect base for exploring the spring flowers or sleepover for travellers , or just a break from city life. Fireplaces, heaters, electric blankets make a winter stay very comfortable. For summer the plaasdam for swimming or relaxing on the deck and the cool interior of the house is perfect.

Tarantula Self Catering Unit 2

Our fully furnished units feature a luxurious king size bed, and couch. Air-conditioning, electric blankets for the winter cold. A fully equipped kitchen for self-catering. Free Wi-Fi, and parking on the premises.The King size bed can be converted in two single beds if so preferred, please ask your host for it to be done. Camping cot is available. PLEASE NOTE! The swimming pool is private only for Unit 3. No outside guests are allowed without permission and will be charge a fee.

Carmel Villa Self-catering - Garden Cottage 2

Carmel Villa Victorian Main House was built in 1904 as is known as "Calvinia's Monument of Love". If you do not want to experience the old fashioned charm of the B&B this fully equipped self-catering unit is just for you (not part of the main house). The garden cottage is a fully equipped self-catering unit that has 2 separate bedrooms with 2 single beds in each room, kitchenette & bathroom with shower. Optional extra: breakfast in the Victorian main house @ R110 pp

This remotely situated Namaqualand cottage is situated 40km from Calvinia on a dirt road and offers an exclusive getaway destination for nature lovers. Nestled on a farm in the Hantam Mountains this cottage offers walking trails, open skies for stargazing, tranquility, lapa evening fires and a flower wonderland between August and October every year.
