Only 45 minutes form Washington, DC, you can sit on one of three decks and gaze into the Chesapeake Bay, enjoying all that small town life has to offer. An open plan, with defined spaces, the house is at once cozy (with a fireplace) and spacious for a family. It is great for couples, adventurers, business travelers, and families. This is not a house for large groups or parties.

Welcome to our beach house, just a block from the Cove Point Beach on the Chesapeake Bay. Start your beach day by grabbing the beach wagon from the shed, loading it up with beach chairs, towels, and your cooler. A short stroll takes you to the beach, where you can spend the day searching for shark teeth and shells or swimming in the bay's refreshing waters. After a day in the sun, rinse off in our outdoor shower. Our shady patio provides the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the evening breeze.

Enjoy fishing, kayaking, bicycling, walk to so many great restaurants nearby and bring your boat! Docking is available during your stay.

The house draws you outside to enjoy a morning cup of coffee on the veranda, before heading down the stone steps to enjoy a day on the private beach, or you might simply enjoy relaxing with a book in the hammock, while listening to music on our built in speaker system.
