Caledonian Canal: soggiorni in chalet

O chalé era muito bonito e bem limpo….Correspondeu com a descrição e fotos do local! Era muito bem equipado o banheiro e roupa de cama impecável a cama era muito boa melhor até q de muitos hotéis! A localização corresponde a descrição e uma estrada estreita mas muito bonita a paisagem! É um local de descanso com uma vista privilegiada! Ficamos felizes com a hospedagem!

Thanks to Grants instructions we found the site very easily which was a lovely clean quiet site which suited us Although you do need transport as the nearest restaurant, shops etc are in Dornoch which is a lovely town and Wednesday is market day with a variety of stalls with local crafts and foods, and a visit to the beach is a must which is very clean and you can walk for miles The static was clean and well presented with lots of extras supplied like tea, coffee, sugar, salt & pepper, toilet rolls, hand soap, washing up liquid, cleaning materials, far more extras than we expected was a lovely touch also lots of pans, cooking utensils, cutlery, plates, glasses etc the only thing we could think that may have been useful was a draining board, as we didn't use the dishwasher as we were out and about exploring and ate out each evening, so only had a few mugs and breakfast dishes so it didn't warrant using the dish washer We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again

Great place to stay near fort William. good for family, kids, hikers, anyone looking for a beautiful calm place to stay with a great mountain view from living room. perfect for a family of 4 with kids

This was the second time we've stayed with Janet. The chalet is cozy and in beautiful surroundings. Remote but not a challenge to get to it's perfect for anyone who wants to get away from civilisation but is not the serious hiking and camping type (though it would still be perfect for those as well). There are plenty of great walks in the area, and Fort Augustus and Inverness aren't far away either. And after a hard day's wall the chalet is great to come back to

Had a great stay in the Easter holidays at Penny’s lodge. Superb location for me and my family. We were two adults a child and a baby and the accommodation was a perfect size for us. Penny also passed by and said hello and was super fast at responding when contacted. Would 100% recommend and we will be back! Thanks Penny!!

Great stay for a few days on a peaceful, family friendly holiday site. Great location and all the amenities required for a lovely few days. Caravan was spotless and great value for money.

Such a lovely property in the most beautiful spot. The house was perfect for our family of 5. Our 3 boys loved the stream in the garden and alongside the lane - so many great spots to swim, paddle and clamber over rocks. The mountain views are stunning, and the decking was perfect for enjoying evening meals on. The property had everything we needed to enjoy a comfortable stay. We loved the whole area too! Would highly recommend.

Without hesitation, she upgraded our stay to a bungalow, ensuring our comfort and convenience. The bungalow was delightful, featuring a comprehensive welcome pack and an instruction book that included local sightseeing recommendations. Its central location in Aviemore made it easy to access local amenities and attractions.​ We are grateful to Kirsty for her exceptional hospitality and swift action in addressing the situation. Karen’s Airbnb was modern, spotless, stylish and literally the most well-provisioned AirBnb I have ever stayed at. Dyson hairdryers in both main suites, every kitchen appliance you could imagine (why of course there’s an ice cream maker!) and then some you didn’t know existed like a hot chocolate maker as well. She was so kind and helpful despite our last-minute reservation in mid-week November happening at the same time as some significant personal events as well. Wonderful, kind, stylish host with a beautiful first class house.

Having stayed in lots of holiday cabins and parks, this holiday home exceeded my expectations. It was spotless and very comfortably furnished. The bathrooms were amazing and had proper fluffy towels! Lovely quiet location. We had an amazing couple of days.

Amazing stay! Plenty of space and great location. Highly recommend staying at this property if you have a family, or need a place to stay in the Highlands. Very cozy!

my review: What a gorgeous lodge. We went up as a family of 6 and 2 dogs. Seil Lodge is beautifully decorated and so clean! Plenty of space, all appliances worked really well, wi-fi was great (fast), shower was amazing (especially after a 12 hour drive up). We were greeted with a warm lodge- heating on. Dogs were greeted with water bowls, treats and blankets (so impressed, extra effort to make it dog friendly, it’s so lovely). Jim and Pauline were great at responding to all questions we had. They had some great recommendations with where to go and what to do. I honestly can’t recommend Jim and Pauline enough. So many little touches that made it feel like home from home. We had such a lovely family experience, lots of happy memories were made. We hope to come back again soon.

Cameron on site was excellent. He had great local recommendations. The house was fantastic with a lovely view of the Loch. Cute on site visitors center with snacks, food, and drinks for sale. Portnellian was such a great estate.

Linda’s place was absolutely magical - you are nestled amongst trees with views of the loch and surrounded by birds chirping. We had an absolutely wonderful stay. The kitchen was so thoughtfully stocked, and the beds were extremely comfortable. The location of the chalet itself is perfect : 20 minutes from Callandar which had great restaurants and shopping, and 10 minute ride into Killin and other beautiful nature spots. Linda was so helpful and responsive throughout our stay — it really made our experience stress free. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful place. The caravan is lovely, spacious, very clean and the beds are very comfortable.

The house and setting were both absolutely stunning and we were so close to lots of beautiful walks! The house was so well equipped and had absolutely everything you would need. Would 100% recommend and would love to visit again!

If AirBnb were making a tutorial on how to deliver the perfect guest experience, it should be modelled on our stay at the Lochan. The best equipped property we've stayed in, with absolutely everything thought of (we could have arrived with the clothes on our back). Carlo was super responsive and extremely helpful in ensuring our needs were catered for and we had enough logs! The Lochan is an idealic setting, with your own portion of the forest to sit back and unwind. It was the perfect place to unwind following a hectic week. The Lochan offers a really comfortable, spacious cabin completed to an extremely high standard, that allows you to unwind and take in Loch and all the creatures that present themselves (look out for the herons). The landscaping/layout mean total privacy, allowing you to feel like you're right at home, right in the middle or nature. Thankyou Carlo & Fiona, the trip reaffirmed why we love Scotland so much!

Tulloch Farm is the perfect location to explore Lochaber and the Cairgorms with easy access to all the main roads. It is so peaceful on the farm. There are well laid out walks and paths around the farm and by the river which were perfect for us. We were so fortunate with the weather during our stay, but the cottage itself is cosy and warm with lots of games and books. Our children especially loved the well kitted games room onsite. Excellent recycling facilities too. We throughly recommend the Retreat at Tulloch Farm.

We stayed for a few days at The Boat House, a really peaceful and quiet place to stay. Everything in the house is clean and modern and we had no problems at all with anything. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again!

A relaxing stay with stunning loch views and a cozy atmosphere. Hosts Osh and Ash are welcoming and thoughtful. There are horse on the grounds which added to the charm of the property.
