Myself and my partner had a great stay at Bongs. The house was modern, clean and homely. The kitchen was well equipped, living room very comfortable and bathroom clean. Bong was very friendly and kind, and made us feel welcome from the start. The neighborhood is quiet and is only a 15 minute drive from the city and close to many other natural attractions in Cairns. Overall a lovely stay, thank you Bong.

Gavin's place was nested in a really nice and peaceful area. Lots of wildlife around, including pademelons, musky rat-kangaroos and beautiful bird calls. Gavin was a very enthusiastic and friendly host. Made us feel at home and happy to chat, and showed us around town as well.

We really enjoyed our stay in Smithfield and can strongly recommend Rob and Nic‘s home. We experienced a very relaxed atmosphere. Monti, the dog, was a bonus. A good starting point to visit all the top spots in and around Cairns. The family were always friendly, helpful and willing to point out places, plants and insects of interest. We would definitely stay there again.

We loved the place, and Leesa was extremely nice and friendly.

Lara was an exceptional host. She was always very helpful and happy but not overbearing. The room was very clean and you had use of the pool on the property. Overall I would recommend this property to other people. You will need a car as it is a little out of the way.

My stay with Deszi was not planned but I couldn’t be happier that my plans changed and I ended up at her house. She’s such a kind and lovely person and will go out of her way to make sure her guests are comfortable. Not only did she offered to pick me up a couple of times, she’s very nice to talk to and made my stay in Cairns even better. I’m really glad that I was able to stay at her lovely place and got to meet her.

Karin is a wonderful hostess... when we arrived the fridge was stocked with milk, butter, fruit - she had supplied everything needed for breakfast. I had seen comments to this effect from Karin herself and in reviews by other guests but it was a lovely touch and made us feel very welcome.

We have stayed in a lot of Air BNBs, some considerably more expensive than this one. However, no-one has a been as thoughtful. We had a fresh shop completed for us that showcased some local produce for a variety of breakfast options. We felt incredibly welcome and at home. We were searching a place that allowed us to recharge away from the busy world and this was perfect, we felt at peace yet could still hop in the car and within 10 minutes could visit a cafe and buy produce. We had cows on our back doorstep which our hosts would answer our questions, yet would allow us to simply enjoy having nature around us. Finally one of the most important things when staying at an air bnb, the bed was very comfortable. There is nothing worse than a perfect air BnB than to be let down by a poor bed, certainly not the case here.

Thank you Margie for a beautiful stay. It makes things so easy when I could communicate so openly with you. It was very lovely to meet you and your puppies :) I am certain that we will stay again when we visit Gimuy (Cairns).

A great location with views over the lakes and the added bonus of the Osprey Nest. Short walk to local park. Handy to drive to nearby attractions or a little further into Cairns CBD just 10 mins away. Neat and tidy, easy to find, all you need.

Jenni & Danny were perfect hosts. They were friendly & approachable. The accommodation was great, clean & the location was close to the Esplanade & station. Would definitely return & recommend to others.

About 15mins walk from waterfront. Quite area with a shopping mall close by. Apartment was very clean! Great communication! Present stay at Tamara’s place.

A rainforest retreat is how I see Melissa's. We loved the lounge room outside, it was comfortable and cool. Outside is a beautiful area. The bed was comfortable and we had all that we needed.

Phenomenal! Beautiful location, wonderful hosts, peaceful - an oasis from the go, go, go. Edge Hill is easy to get around and close to inner city Cairns. Julie went above and beyond. She picked me up at airport, drop me off and picked me up from a day trip, and dropped me at airport. Definitely super host and I didn't want to leave. And the pool! A fantastic place and highly recommend!!

Julie’s place was absolutely spotless and provided a safe, comfortable haven for our Christmas stay. The location was wonderfully quiet and perfectly dark at night, ensuring a peaceful rest. Breakfast in the morning was a highlight, featuring delicious tropical fruits. This is the best BnB I have stayed in due to its exceptional cleanliness and the host’s effective communication. Highly recommend staying here!

Stunning separate bungalow with beautiful bedroom and bathroom....in a Botanical Garden with more than 600 plants....just an oasis!.... Also loved the yummy breakfasts with baguette from Le Crouton. Thank you for the lovely chats early in the morning and for cleaning during 4-day stay and water.

Lovely cabin backing onto the rainforest and river. John was the perfect host, gave a fiendly tour around the property then we returned to the cabin with fresh hot cross buns waiting for us. They have obviously given a lot of thought into everything that we might need or want to make our stay as comfortable as possible because it was all there, and some. The area was a post card and it was so nice to come back to such a well appointed little cabin in the forest after a day of exploring the tablelands.
