Situated along the Wild Atlantic Way, on the Ring of Kerry and within easy reach of the Kerry Way long distance walking trail. This charming stone cottage features a comfortable double bed, sofa bed, well equipped kitchenette and outdoor seating. Local beaches are all within easy reach (O’Carroll’s Cove 500m, Reen 1.5km, Whitestrand 3km and Derrynane 5km).

The Beara Bus....with Awesome Views

The Beara Bus is a unique living space situated on the coastline with stunning views across the Atlantic to the Sheeps Head and Mizen Head Peninsulas and Bere Island. The entrance to the harbour of Castletownbere ( Irelands second largest fishing port) can be seen with the daily coming and goings of the fishing fleet. In the waters below the Bus basking shark, minke whale and dolphins are frequent visitors. The sun rising up over Sheeps Head Peninsula can make for an unforgettable breakfast !

The property was recently renovated to make holiday- makers as comfortable as possible without loosing the essential character of the house. The large airy kitchen, with fitted and free-standing units retains its farmhouse feel but is well stocked with all the essentials. The cosy sitting room has an open fire, smart TV and plenty of books. All 3 bedrooms have firm and comfy mattresses, eco-duvets and Irish wool blankets. Electric shower upstairs and pumped shower in the downstairs bathroom.

The Hideaway at Three Castle Head is truly unique property situated at the head of a beautiful valley with not another house in sight and surrounded only by wild nature. The views from the cabin are breathtaking with Dunlough Castle in the near distance, the lake beside it and the wild Atlantic ocean stretching off to Beara Peninsula across the water.
