In the heart of historic downtown Oroville, Judge Gray's home (est. 1875), offers four suites (each w/ private bathroom and shower), kitchen, dining room, parlor, office & laundry. A couple or group of eight adults (no children) can enjoy the house while exploring the beauty and history of Butte County. One suite per guest (two guests maximum per suite.) Unbooked suites will be locked to keep the cleaning fee affordable for smaller groups.

Family Home Near Bidwell Park

The home is a block from Bidwell Park with swimming holes, hiking and playgrounds at our doorstep. It is a short drive/bike ride down Vallombrosa Avenue to the University and downtown Chico and is filled with books, musical instruments, and places to relax for families or couples/friends traveling together. Absolutely NO SMOKING inside or out. Please contact host if interested in booking the backyard studio for an additional nightly cost.

The kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals just like home. Brand new gas BBQ, full size washer/dryer, gas fireplace for winter nights and powerful AC for hot summers. Close to grocery stores and restaurants but feels like a remote retreat. We love long-term guests!

Every morning, enjoy a light farm breakfast of fresh eggs from the chickens and homemade muffins from scratch, along with coffee and tea and a welcome sign with your name on it. Carolyn and Julio have been hosting for 8 years and genuinely love it. You'll feel that right away.

Basketball court, video arcade games, etc! Fun for all! And bring your quarters for the sports card vending machine. This is a beautiful 3 bedroom 2 bathroom house with a nice location in Chico near the freeway, restaurants, movie theater, shopping, etc. You will love staying in this comfortable house!
