This cabin is private with lush woodlands around it and endless leisures like floating down the river in the summer sun or having a snowball fight as the flakes fall in winter. No matter the season, this cabin is perfect for family & friends to gather to enjoy each other’s company!

The Cardinal Cabin

Our cozy cabin is located under tall pine trees on a beautiful, northern lake where loons and eagles frequent. Wood Lake is easily commutable - 80 miles from the Twin Cities. Swim and fish off the dock or pontoon during the day, and sit in front of the stone fireplace at night. The Cabin has been completely remodeled, with a modern kitchen and new furnishings. It is also equipped with high-speed Wi-Fi with access to many streaming services. The Cardinal Cabin is the perfect lakeside retreat!

We have a great selection of games, books and movies to snuggle up with in front of our warm fireplace. Bring your snowmobiles, ATVs and ice fishing gear as we are close to the Gandy Dancer Trails and our beautiful river flows to two lakes for great fishing - end at our bonfire pit to roast S'mores and swap stories!

Just 1 mile from McKenzie Lake’s bars, restaurants, and outdoor fun. Enjoy new appliances, pool table, games, movies, walking trails, corn hole, washer/dryer, covered parking, fire pit, and plenty of space to relax, explore nature, and create unforgettable memories.

Lakeview Retreat

Our place is a welcoming tranquil retreat. The modern home is set on 88 acres of land, which includes beautiful views (no lake access) of nearby Bass Lake. The house can accommodate 8 people in comfort. The land includes extensive walking trails to view the abundance of wildlife. Siren, Webster and Danbury are located within miles to the West and Shell Lake and Spooner are to the East, with Duluth and Hayward approximately an hour away.

Nordlys Lodging Co. - LongHouse

Perched high on a bluff over the hidden lake, LongHouse is the perfect getaway. This one-story, 1,200 sq.ft. cabin has one king bedroom, one queen bedroom, and two bathrooms. Floor to ceiling glass brings the outdoors inside, and each season brings its own unique perspective. Traverse the bridge over a dry creek bed and enjoy water views from a large screen porch.
