Great place to relax and enjoy the countryside.

Absolutely loved our quick stay here! We were passing through from Yeppoon to Brisbane. The fenced yard was amazing for my Cavoodle Charlie and the room was so comfy and clean. Best bed I’ve slept on in ages!! Direct access to the beach and beautiful walking track

If looking for instant relaxation on arrival, tranquil nearly meditative surrounds, then this place is a must. Extremely quiet with the magic Fraser Coast ocean at your doorstep - literally!. Dog friendly. We paddle boarded every day whilst the dog ran along the beach. The house is very clean and ideally positioned to catch the gentle breeze. Whether reading a book or enjoying the lively fishing, this place will take you back in time where life is easy. The house is perfectly positioned within a super-chilled fishing village. The ideal escape from the hustle of the city. The owners were wonderful and encouraged us to meet the warm neighbours for a drink around the fire pit only metres from waters edge - we felt like locals instantly! The house was spotless, well presented. If we weren't in the ocean, we were playing soccer & cricket hours on end on the large turfed area on the beach. Perfect/safe for kids. We will be back, we just want to make sure it never loses its charm!

What a well equipped and impeccable renovation! Absolutely was blown away with the quality finishing, choices of security features and the abundance of activities to do with the family all within the comfort of the home. Will definitely be booking again for our next family retreat.

Kev’s Cottage is the Pinnacle when it comes to accommodation for itinerant fisherman. The cottage is located a short drive from the public boat ramp at Lake Monduran. It has everything you could possibly want, from a shed to park up the boat and charge batteries to air conditioned, spacious and comfortable bedrooms. The stocked fridge and local produce available for purchase while staying at the cottage is very convenient and well thought out. I’d have no hesitation in returning or recommending to friends 😊

From the moment we arrived, the breathtaking beach views captivated us. The location is simply unbeatable—nestled in a charming and tranquil town, it offers the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The house itself is impressively spacious, making it ideal for a large family gathering. We had plenty of room to spread out, and the layout provided both privacy and communal areas for everyone to enjoy together. The open-plan design seamlessly connects the living spaces with the outdoor areas, allowing us to soak in the coastal breeze.

The property is tastefully decorated with comfortable furniture and it has a great bed. Situated in a bamboo forest, the privacy and quiet in beautiful lush surroundings was unexpected but really made our stay memorable.
