The unique, art filled, hand built wooden house, opens to the fence enclosed decks with sunken koi ponds. Relax outside in the sun, or under the roof for shade, make a fire in the fire pit, on your private fenced in deck. The walkway to the house has uneven stone steps, if walking is a challenge Easy access to downtown Asheville as well as stores and restaurants minutes from the house in rural Fairview where the house is located. It is also a short drive to the Blue Ridge parkway

Welcome to The Understory. Nestled deep in the rhododendron covered woods, this romantic hand-crafted tiny home offers you a peaceful and memorable stay just 15 minutes from both Asheville and Black Mountain. The comfortable living space includes a rain shower, king sized bed in a lofted sleeping area, cozy wood stove and a full kitchen. Surrounding the cabin is a large deck with a table and chairs, a luxurious soaking bathtub, and a patio equipped with a fire pit and propane grill.

Offering convenience to amenities, breweries, music venues, outdoor activities, and all the amazing restaurants that the area has to offer.

The RhodoDen

As its name suggests, The RhodoDen is a cozy 1974 Airstream Argosy nestled among the rhododendron of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Set along a trickling creek with a bonfire ring and a view of nearby Watch Knob, this is "glamping" at its finest. RhodoDen provides an idyllic place to relax, and is a great basecamp for hiking adventures, dining and nightlife in Asheville and Black Mountain, both of which are only 15 minutes away. Plus we are pet friendly! Update 3/24: We built a roof!

Rustic Birch Cabin - Fenced Yard / Dog Friendly!

Come submerge yourself in nature and enjoy our Rustic Birch Cabin. The cabin is located in the woods but is conveniently located close to (5 mins) the interstate, shops, and grocery stores. It is fully equipped with a full kitchen, double bed - bedroom, bathroom, private screened-in porch and fenced-in yard for your sweet pup! Enjoy a coffee or craft beer in front of the toasty propane log fireplace or while listening to the sounds of native birds and wildlife on the back porch.

Enjoy everything that the Asheville area has to offer! Our private ground floor suite boasts a separate entrance and offers a comfortable space to unwind. The peaceful fenced in backyard is perfect for you and your pet. Guests tell us how ZEN our indoor and outdoor space feels. What's more, we are super pet friendly! Newly renovated bathroom! Located just one mile north of downtown Asheville. Very safe and walkable neighborhood. Steps away from an urban Greenway for dog walking and bike riding. The cottage is a separate unit with a private entrance. 400 square feet with a bathroom, kitchenette, heart of pine antique floors. We are two miles from the Grove Park Inn and four miles from the Biltmore house. The space is appropriate for two adults or one adult and one child.

Cabin Kisa

This cabin was constructed by hand in 2019 and is designed with both style and calm in mind. It is a perfect place for artists and writers to find inspiration or for guests who want to connect to nature by simply waking up with the trees. The cabin is a BIPOC, LGBTQIA+ safe space, partly functions as an informal artist residency space for our friends and comrades and guest who stay will find it more as a home environment instead of a hotel.
