York House is a tranquil and luxurious holiday home. This waterfront property is only six metres from the sea with outstanding views over the mouth of the river Exe and Exmouth bay. The house was the home of a well known local artist for many years and has undergone a total renovation in 2025 to bring it up to date whilst retaining all the original features and charm. This makes York house the perfect destination for guests who want a luxurious, but tranquil setting for their break.

Newly refurbished (March 2026) three-bedroom cottage, perfectly positioned just a stone’s throw from the beach. Bright open-plan kitchen and dining area alongside a lounge with access out to the courtyard. Three double bedrooms, the bathroom complete with a roll-top bath and separate shower. To the rear, a private courtyard garden provides with direct rear access—perfect for storing beach gear, paddleboards, and sandy shoes straight from a day on the coast.

Spacious bright, airy home is set at the end of a quiet road, approx ten minutes of the bus station, beach and town with multiple shops and pubs with a large garden. Food and children's drinks are not taken into the lounge area please. Table mats are provided for dining table, close by the lounge. Downstairs is almost entirely open plan, except for an additional room where there is a very comfortable sofa bed. No pets at property. NO SMOKING PLEASE.
