It is a great place to enjoy a romantic weekend, or a vacation with the kids and your pets for outdoor adventures which include hiking or biking the many trails and ravines, or capturing images of birds and other wildlife with your camera. The cabin has a fully equipped kitchen for gourmet cooking and dining on the front porch.

Welcome to our cozy tiny cabin tucked away on 32 acres of peaceful Mississippi woodlands, with direct access to the beautiful Bogue Chitto River. Step out your door and into miles of forest, spend the day kayaking or fishing on the river, then unwind by the firepit under a sky full of stars. Whether you're looking for solitude, adventure, or a digital detox, this retreat delivers. There is no shooting or ATV’s allowed on the property. PLEASE DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLES ON THE TRAILS EITHER!

The Haven is the perfect place to relax and reconnect with nature or have a good time with friends. Our 5 bedroom home sits on 45 acres of woodland with a 12 foot inground salt water pool. Unwind on the deck. Hike the trails into the forest and down to the creek. Play pool, air hockey, or ping pong in our balcony game room. Hang out in the pool or in the great room which has 3 couches, 2 recliners, and lots of space to spread out. And leave feeling refreshed and ready to get back to life.

Apartment with Loft

We absolutely love hosting!This space is an apartment built in part of a shop metal building. This was designed by and for our daughter who has since moved and so now using for Airbnb. one queen bed in the loft, one twin XL bed in downstairs bedroom. couch lets out to twin bed but I would only recommend for children….as it is small. To be comfortable, you may want to ask options for more than 3 . Bathroom opens to bedroom. Please note: Shower is small. There is no TV, but great WiFi.

Thunder Ridge —Entire House pet-friendly near NOLA

Thunder Ridge at the Forest Retreat is an adults-only pet-friendly getaway. Children may come only during specific holidays. Your house will be unlocked. Check-in is a 3 p.m. Here you are surrounded by the Homochitto National Forest. Take a picnic to the sand-bars along the pristine spring-fed creek. Hike or mountain bike on the remote forest roads. Sports cars do not fare well here. Please note that the address listed on Airbnb is not our location. I will email you directions.

For an extra fee, store your boat, or ATV inside the 20x30 metal building located on the property.

The Homochitto National Forest is minutes away. Here you can enjoy hiking, biking or bird watching in the quiet while watching wildlife. We also have games & TV/DVD player hookup only. Take a day or afternoon & go looking for arrowheads, fossils & other treasures like gold rocks.

Secluded cabin in the woods-Tinmann Retreat

My place is close to Okissa Lake, Clearsprings Recreational area, city of Natchez, and the Natchez Trace.. it is only 2 1/2 hours from New Orleans, or less than 2 hours from Baton Rouge. You’ll love our place because the property is located in the middle of the Homochitto National Forest. It is secluded and quiet. No plane, train, or automobile noise.. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets).

This Southern-style home is a short walk to downtown on the trail along the Bluff. Sitting on the covered front porch, you can enjoy the park-like setting. Inside, are high ceilings and spacious, open living areas. There is Tupelo Cottage behind the home, connected by a breezeway which is available also. Each place has separate entrances, porches and driveways. My place is good for couples, families and business travelers.
