Stonehaven - large country retreat, with pool*

We struggled to find a place for our group of 17 and Stonehaven was an amazing find! The beds were comfortable, we loved being able to have meals all together in one spot, and there was lots of space for people to do different activities inside since it was winter. Outside, we enjoyed tobogganing, snowshoeing and cross country skiing on the property. Steve was quick to communicate and provided clear instructions and maps. We were already talking about going back so we can enjoy the property in the summer! Thank you for a memorable and fun weekend!

My brother, father and I really enjoyed staying at the loft! Valentine provided us with everything we could have asked for and more. We will definitely be recommending this space to our friends and family :)

The Butchart Estate: your perfect family retreat!

My only concern is that there was one huge spider web in kitchen, and some smaller ones in upper corners of some doorways. The downstairs bathroom floor had hair and baseboards could be cleaned. The Violet room bathtub needed to be cleaned before use. Underneath the radiators was dust accumulation which I wouldn’t expect at this price point. Pool and hot tub were lovely and with bringing our own portable ramp we were able to make home accessible for our needs. Beautiful dishes, lots of variety of china, linen napkins, pantry contents. We didn’t find a keurig but they had a fancy coffe machines but no instructions on how use. We were not familiar with use lol. We enjoyed the history of the building, architecture and beautiful art work. Lots of space to find quiet times and not have to be with everyone all the time. Kitchen facilities were excellent. Recycling was fabulous and set up idiot proof. Shower in white & dark blue bedroom had no temp markings & were opposite to tub

Elegant home on a private lake with pool

Fantastic Place! Our hosts Angela and Ed were very responsive and met us there on check in. Gave us a tour of the property and let us know things to do in the area. Our little ones thoroughly enjoyed the pool, games and puzzles. The house has plenty of space and having a private bathroom in each bedroom was a blessing. The house was very clean and had a guide to help with everything. Very private and peaceful, a good place to unwind from the hectic work schedules. Once again great place and great hosts. Would highly recommend.

Entire Cottage with Hot Tub, near Beach

What a beautiful home in a quiet and peaceful neighbourhood. The windows let in wonderful natural light, you can also see bits of the Georgian bay through the windows. We woke up to a quiet neighbourhood with birds chirping. The place is well stocked with everything you need! We especially loved the hot tub, which was ready to use with clear instructions. Karen is exceptionally responsive and communicative. This place had everything you need and more! It’s a short drive to the downtown with wonderful restaurants. Highly recommend!

Experience Country Living at Firefly Ridge

We really enjoyed our stay here. The place is exactly what we are looking for. Very cozy and quiet, nice hikes and most of all, the amazing animals. The girls spent hours hanging out with the horses and the pigs. Our time here was very memorable. There are amazing hikes nearby, small towns like Markdale and Flasherton and both have small restaurants, shops and cafes. John and Andrea are simply great! They are extremely kind and generous with their time. Excellent advice all the time, great conversations and will offer anything to make our stay more enjoyable. John let us help with the daily shores and feeding the animals. He also gave us excellent ideas for hikes, local attractions, etc. We are really looking forward to going there again next spring or summer.

Our stay at Catharine and Mike’s house was a great time. The house was very spacious and had all the necessary appliances, linens, towels etc that anyone staying there could need. We felt very at home and enjoyed the pool, which was also extremely clean. Hosts were very accommodating and quick to respond to any request we had. We look forward to staying here again. Thank you!

This place is amazing! Pictures don’t do it justice. Jenn was a very responsive host. The house is well stocked with everything you need and more. The gym is amazing and perfect for those into CrossFit. We would definitely stay here again!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this cottage! Thomas is incredibly friendly and responsive, always ready to assist with anything we needed. He went above and beyond by keeping the house warm before our arrival and even left us some snacks—such thoughtful touches really made a difference. The cottage itself is amazing, fully equipped with all the amenities you could need. It's clear that a lot of care has gone into making it a cozy and enjoyable place. We felt like we were treated like family throughout our stay, which made the experience even more special. The location is perfect, surrounded by plenty of attractions, and the cottage has so much to offer in terms of fun and entertainment—it’s truly a great place to unwind and explore. Honestly, this was one of the best Airbnb experiences we’ve ever had, and we can’t wait to return in the summer to spend even more time here! Thanks again for being an amazing host Thomas.

Très bonne communication avec Tracey. Très bon accueil de la part de Tracey et Dan à notre arrivée et ils se sont assurés que tout se passait bien durant notre séjour. La piscine (immense) et le spa sont un gros plus a la location. Et en plus la cour arrière est bien clôturée pour les chiens. Mon golden était donc content de se défouler en liberté. Le logement est fidèle aux photos et commentaires précédents! Le logement est idéalement situé proche de Sauble beach et du lac huron à oliphant. C’est facile de visiter à partir de cet emplacement. L’environnement est calme et reposant et le voisinage accueillant.
