Be immersed in the peace and quiet of a Tuscan olive orchard by staying in this stone farmhouse which features traditional architectural elements such as terra cotta floors, vaulted ceilings, and original wood fixtures. Dive into the plunge pool with sweeping views of the Mediterranean Sea. For adventurous travelers who will appreciate the 10-minute panoramic walk to the house (we will transport your luggage and groceries by tractor). The magical view of the world below with the coast on the horizon which can be enjoyed from every room of the house and from the entire olive orchard with its walking paths and plunge pool with waterfall. Being a pedestrian village, Metato is quiet and peaceful. Yet, the beach and many great places to visit are a short drive away- Pisa, Florence, Lucca, the marble quarries of Cararra, Pietrasanta, Viareggio.... Guests have exclusive access to the pool and property. Metato is a friendly litttle village in the hills overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. There is a quaint family-run restaurant in the village that serves local homemade dishes at a very reasonable price. Our pedestrian village tends to attract kind people in search of peace and quiet and a proximity with nature. Time seems to go by more slowly here. It is a perfect base for families who want to explore Tuscany and the beaches of the Versilia coast. The home is in a beautiful, quiet location on a hill surrounded by olive orchards and vineyards just a 10-minute walk from the parking lot. Explore the medieval village of Metato where fireflies and breathtaking views await. Take an invigorating hike or head to the beaches a short drive away. There is a parking lot at the base of the village where you can park the car. The village itself is pedestrian but I am happy to greet guests at the parking lot on their arrival to transport their luggage, groceries and whoever wants to ride to the house with my little Italian tractor! The nearest airport is Pisa (45-minutes by car). All the major car rental places can be found there. The nearest train station is Viareggio.

La casa è vicino a Lucca, città medievale d'arte e cultura, città natale di Puccini, circondata da un cerchio di mura uniche al mondo, con splendide viste panoramiche, ristoranti, musei e attività per la famiglia come escursioni in campagna, lungo il parco fluviale e in mountainbike nelle colline circostanti; il mare è a soli 15 minuti di autostrada. Ti piacerà per questi motivi: la luce, l'intimità e la pace. Il mio alloggio è adatto a coppie, famiglie con bambini e a chi viaggia per lavoro .

Once a 19th-century horse stable, this Tuscan home was discovered by my mother : a Dutch artist and traveller, she moved here in search of beauty, nature and light. She stayed for twenty years. My brother and my daughter grew up running barefoot on these ancient terracotta floors. Le Alpi Apuane si ergono a ridosso delle spiagge della Riviera Toscana fino a 2000 metri di altezza e sono note per l'estrazione del marmo. L'agriturismo è immerso al 100% nella natura. Dopo un lungo restauro, il casale e l'adiacente ex fienile sono stati trasformati in due villette unifamiliari.

La struttura si trova sulla sommità di una collina molto panoramica, nei pressi del borgo medievale di Sillico dove si trova anche un ottimo ristorante. Sistemazione perfetta per coppie romantiche, famiglie con bambini con i loro cani. Luogo perfetto per il relax ma adatto anche agli ospiti che amano la vacanza attiva con tante emozionanti escursioni di trekking, canyoning, e-MTB ed equitazione. Cari ospiti, noi siamo Massimo e Roberta, abbiamo acquistato recentemente questo casolare risalente al 1800, circondato da castagni, vicino al paese di Pruno. Se volete immergervi nella natura questo è il luogo che fa per voi, troverete silenzio e tranquillità. Arriverete con l'auto in questa oasi di pace, accolti dall'ampia terrazza dove godrete del sole tutto il giorno, per finire ammirando il tramonto. Entrando il salottino con il camino d'inverno è molto intimo per leggere un libro .

La casa è collocata a Melo, un luogo poco distante dal paese Pruno raggiungibile in 10 minuti a piedi o in un attimo disponendo di una auto 4x4 o più alta del normale in grado di percorrere un sentiero non asfaltato.
