We are 1 mile from the quaint village of Reedsville with eateries, shops and taverns... all surrounded by the Amish community. State College is 27 miles. While it is in a quiet area, there’s lots to do close by… Several State Parks, Pine Creek, Kish Creek, a small town with several restaurants and a beautiful park, take a tour of Amish country and more!

Cozy country charm

My cottage has beautiful views from every side of the house and a relaxing front porch to sit and relax and enjoy a cup of coffee. It's a cozy cottage at the foot of the mountain with lots of privacy. There are no neighbors. There are horses here to enjoy watching them graze or feed them a snack. It's truly a nice getaway and still only a half hour from 3 local towns. For warmer weather there is a firepit, picnic table, grill and some nice shaded areas to relax.

Welcome to the tiny Cabin In The Cove! This beautiful cabin sits right in the woods of central Pennsylvania. The cabin is located 1000 ft away from the creek. State game land is a 5 minute drive for hunting. Acres of land for hiking, watch wildlife, or just relax. The Juniata river is a 10 minute drive to go kayaking. Amazing mom and pop resturaunts to eat at. This cabin is just one hour from Penn State main campus for football games and is an hour from Hershey Park.

We are an easy drive to State College for athletics, graduation, etc., and close proximity to excellent hiking, fishing, skiing, and water recreation.

We are only 35 minutes from Penn State, Lake Raystown is only 45 minutes, Mifflin Co. airport is 5 min, 3.5 miles from 322. Enjoy relaxing and drinking coffee on the porch while watching the deer and beautiful country scenery. Guests are welcome to give the deer treats. Private outdoor fire pit.
