Oaklea Pod

At the end of a quiet lane, overlooking fields and hills our pod offers everything you need for a comfortable stay. Like all pods ours is small and cosy and is ideal for those travelling on a budget who plan to spend their time sight seeing or hiking and want their own space to prepare meals, relax and sleep in.

The Red Fox Retreat is the ultimate luxury glamping getaway location. A twist on the more conventional ‘pod’, the cabin features a curved wood interior entered from an arched doorway in front of which is situated a perfectly appointed king sized bed with amazing views of the Trottenish Ridge and the croft (farmland) that surrounds the property. Inside you will find Portree Pod equipped with a couch, smart t.v,underfloor heating, a double bed, en suite shower room and small kitchen area. We also have free wi-fi available. Stunning views of Uig Harbour in North Skye. Handy for pub, restaurant, filling station. Uig has The Fairy Glen and is about 5 miles from the famous Quiraing. There is one double bed and two large bunk beds, each the same size as a standard single bed. The accommodation is self catering, with tea, coffee, cereals, eggs etc. supplied. TV and Wi-fi. 30 paces from parking to the door. Towels and linen supplied.
