British Columbia: soggiorni in loft

Our family, including our 6-year-old daughter, had a wonderful 4-day stay at this Airbnb. Jonathan was incredibly kind and thoughtful - he prepared everything carefully for our check-in, and the place was clean, quiet, and very comfortable. The location is amazing - just a 5-minute walk to Nanoose Bay where we saw wildlife like deer and geese, and even had the chance to play with them. It’s also only a 15-minute drive to Parksville and then to Qualicum Beach, and also super convenient from the ferry terminal (30 minutes). Our daughter cried when we had to leave and said she wished she could stay there longer. Truly a memorable and heartwarming getaway - thank you, Jonathan!

Me and my friends had a fantastic stay at this Loft! The hosts were incredibly helpful and friendly throughout our visit, making us feel very welcome. The place itself was spotless, beautifully maintained, and looked exactly like the photos. They also provided excellent recommendations for things to do in the area, which made exploring the historic Gastown neighborhood even more enjoyable. The location was perfect, with plenty of great spots to visit nearby. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Vancouver!

Great little suite with everything we needed, just steps from Chesterman Beach. Clean, comfortable, and great location, with a lovely lighted path to the beach. Barbara was so thoughtful and helpful throughout our stay, from leaving an Easter surprise for our kids to helping us out with finding a missing kite! Thank you :)

Great location and apartment - very close to supermarket, gondola and bus stop. Ideal for skiing holiday. Loved being high up with good views. Lots of steps as a result but we didn’t mind at all, good exercise! Clean apartment with well equipped kitchen. Definitely 3 person max. Highly recommend 👍

Overall, had an excellent stay. The unit itself is beautifully appointed, was clean, and as described. Communication was a breeze. The location itself, while close to Gastown, is (according to Google Maps) technically in the Downtown Eastside, an area that has its share of urban issues. So one should be aware of this when booking (and read about the neighborhood).

Great location with amazing views. Immaculately presented accommodation, was easy to find and Lisa provided very clear and easy-to-read instructions on how to access the property. Highly recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in Campbell River.

Our annual trip to Nelson, B.C. was absolutely incredible! The accommodations were top-notch, the restaurants were super fun, and the skiing was amazing. We had the whole place to ourselves, with its spa-like decor and unique Industrial feel, overlooking the rail yard, airport, river, and mountains. We stayed in a townhome/condo for five nights and only ate out twice. Once, we went to the Thai restaurant Busaba, which was fantastic. The other time, we visited Backroads Brewing, which was a lot of fun. They also have a place called Across the Street that delivers pizza. We had a great time there. After skiing at white water we went to the Nelson Brewing Co., we celebrated St. Patrick’s Day. Overall, it was an amazing trip, and I can’t wait to go back. I’ll definitely try to book the Loft next time! Thanks, Chara!

This was a unique experience in that previous Airbnb stays were in homes that did not have personal items while this was definitely a home lived in, not a second home. Getting use to this took time for us but still an overall pleasant experience. The Gastown area is walkable and has numerous restaurants/shops. Also it is easy to walk to either Stanley Park or Granville. There are homeless in the area but were never accosted by them. Scott provided a well stocked kitchen though we only used the coffee and tea. Scott’s home is on the 5th floor. An elevator is available but wasn’t working during our stay. Scott contacted me prior to check in offering a full refund since the elevator was unavailable. We decided to try using stairs and we survived but it is difficult if you’re in your late 70’s. Scott let us check in early and responded quickly to all messages. My wife and I had a wonderful stay and would definitely stay again if available.

Ken is a great host, he was there for us at any time. We were well aware of the neighborhood situation but it still affected us, Fortunately we were working so did not have to stay in the area too long. Vancouver is beyond beautiful for us Montrealers. The apart is a breath of fresh air with its natural light and super well organized.

The condo was clean, exactly as described, and conveniently located within walking distance of many downtown attractions.
