Greenlands Barn on the old River Tone navigation

Greenlands Barn is in a lovely quiet spot off the River Tone. From the doorstep you can walk along the river, go further onto the Somerset levels or do a circuit to the local pub in the next village. The barn is light and airy with a large kitchen diner & living room, king size bedroom, spacious bathroom, walled courtyard and private riverbank. There are mountain bikes and a 2-person canoe for use during your stay. Historic towns, countryside or just a rest by the wood-burning stove awaits you.

Approximately 10 mins from M5 junction 23 a perfect stop to spend a night or more exploring nearby surroundings, or attending a wedding nearby, or to break up a long journey. Quantock Hills are a 10min drive. Bridgwater train station 20 to 30 mins walk. Walking distance to the town centre, supermarkets and public transport. Adults only. Single or couple, no children, No pets , ( Service animals allowed).

The Snug at Mill Barn - rural retreat

Tucked away in a peaceful location, this new open plan conversion was finished in September 2019. Completed to a high standard, this cosy space provides an idyllic hideaway. Stockland and Steart Marshes can be accessed immediately opposite the Snug and the coast is five minutes drive away. Ideal for country walks, cycling and bird watching. A selection of walks to explore are provided by the owners. Ample parking and use of owners tranquil garden for relaxation. Perfect escape for couples.

The Old Stables

Hidden away in a unique rural setting on the Somerset Levels.  Light, airy and cosy with log burner. Looking out of the glass frontage you will find our alpacas, goats, ponies and various poultry . Right on the edge of nature reserves this is perfect for cyclists and bird watchers. In the winter months you can witness the famous murmurations. Cosy 1 bed conversion of an Edwardian garage in a quiet rural setting only 2 miles from central Taunton and 2 miles to Hestercombe Gardens. Set in the parish of Kingston St Mary, in the foothills of the Quantocks, this quirky home is suited to walkers, cyclists and anyone wanting access to this lovely area. Downstairs is a well equipped kitchen and shower room. The beamed sitting room and bedroom are upstairs. There is a sunny private decked area outside next to the property
