The cottage was just what we needed for a short stay in Abergavenny. it's perfectly located to explore the town or nearby park, which ours dogs loved. The beds were super comfy too and the garden a gem.

Beautiful house very easy walk through the park to the nearby shops. Everything you could need for a weekend away handy and even a shop across the road for groceries! Good communication about the trip and real pleasure to stay here

Great place! Close to everything we needed. Had a packed weekend. The accommodation was clean and had all the little touches we needed. Would definitely recommend and would definitely come back again. It was perfect for what we required 😊

The house is lovely and was in a handy place for our needs. It was warm when we arrived and the heating was programmed to keep us warm, though it was chilly at night. The communication in advance of our trip was excellent. Heather messaged me to clarify aspects of the property such as the low ceiling and steps to make sure it was suitable for one of our party. We had issues with bringing a large vehicle and Heather was able to offer solutions to solve our parking problems.

We had such a lovely month staying in this gorgeous barn conversion with our dogs. Sarah and Shaun are wonderful hosts. Very thoughtful and kind. They accommodated us with a much later check out which helped us massively. Cannot recommend highly enough ⭐️

I loved everything about this place, the bed was very comfy and the location was perfect. The bath and shower are wonderful and so is the soap and shower gel and linens available. I loved the eco friendly toilet paper too. Two points to note: there was no chopping board I could see? Fortunately most of my food was already prepared so it was not a big deal. And I believe it is the hot water tank that makes a noise intermittently? So, if you're a light sleeper like me, you'll need ear plugs despite being in very quiet and peaceful countryside. I loved my stay here it was very special and I would stay again when visiting the brecons!

Loved staying here. It is on a quiet street, close to a park and the river. The cottage is really well equipped and designed, with everything you need for a long weekend. There’s a wood burner and other heating if you need it - very cosy and secure!

My husband and I stayed at Lynette’s place so we could go and complete the waterfalls walk for my husbands birthday. Lynette offered an earlier check in for no extra charge which was amazing! Upon arriving at the property we fell in love instantly, absolutely beautiful, looked and smelt amazing. Spotlessly clean and Lynette had also left a birthday card and bar of chocolate for my husband, how lovely! Have nothing negative to say about our stay, would highly recommend. Thank you Lynette, you were an amazing host :)

My stay at Liz's place was perfect. I was at the Principality stadium for a rugby match and I could practically touch it from Liz's place. It was beautifully quiet and the outdoor area was an absolute bonus. Thanks Liz for an amazing stay. I'll be back soon. Ruth xx

We had a lovely stay here, peaceful tranquil surroundings. The lamb and goat kids were so cute to watch in the evenings. Host also extremely helpful. Lots of good recommendations we didn't have enough time to see them all! Super friendly. Will certainly return again

We had a great stay, the flat has all you need. it’s spacious and bright. Very close to the town and sea. Very well maintained.

Our second stay at the cwtch. It’s a lovely cosy spot perfect for exploring the surrounding coast and tourist attractions. Rob is a fantastic host. Always helpful and the Welsh cakes were fabulous.

We would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for an Airbnb near Cardiff. It was very well equipped and safe for our two children, and that isn't often the case when you have a toddler in tow! However, myself and my husband both commented on how perfect it would be just for the two of us for a little getaway also. It's small, but it felt very homely and had absolutely everything we needed. The log burner was an added bonus!

Maxine was a great host. The accommodation was spotless with lots of thoughtful touches to make our stay even nicer. Really well located for walks in the surrounding area. Would recommend.

I have to come clean - I am an enthusiast of Penarth, the architecture of the town, the community feel, and everything about the place. Sarah's place, being among the oldest houses in the town, was a must for all the things I was looking for. Sarah herself is friendly and has clearly put a lot of herself into the house. My journey time to Penarth could have been subject to delays, being more than 500 miles... but we had good communication and met up without difficulty at the house. All in all, the house was cosy and well appointed. It also was a great base for strolling into Penarth Town centre and even, across the barrage, to Butetown and even Cardiff. I would thoroughly recommend Sara's house for your stay.

Really enjoyed staying here for a hen party. The property was as described and the photos represented it well. The only downside was the bunk beds were smaller than we anticipated. Anyone over 5ft will struggle to sleep comfortably in these beds as they are shorter than a standard bed.
