This charming cabin features a living room with a fireplace, a kitchen with a vintage oven and cooking essentials, satellite WiFi and two sleeping spaces (1 king bed and 1 full futon) – a perfect mountain getaway for a couple, small family, or friends. Your hosts are vintage sci-fi fans and artists, with influences and work throughout the place. Rustic attached guest studio in beautiful Squirrel Valley with private entrance with EV plug. 5 min to Lake Isabella marina, 20 min to natural hot springs, 20 min to Kernville, 40 min to Alta Sierra ski resort, 1 and 1/2 hours to Trail of 100 giants. Great halfway stopping point between Death Valley and Yosemite. Perfect for traveling nurses, hospital is less than two miles away. Nature trails right out the back door. If you need assistance we will be here, but we will respect your privacy.

Hello and welcome to Bluebird Cottage. We are located 1 mile up a dirt road in the Isabella Highlands overlooking Lake Isabella. Our road is bumpy in and steep in areas, but we have never had a guest not make it up here. We are approximately a 3 hour Drive to Sequoia National Park. We are a 2 hour drive from Death Valley National Park. We are a 4 hour drive from Yosemite. We are 3 hr drive from Los Angeles. Bluebird Cottage is a cozy tiny home with a private outdoor space. Incredible views!

Plunge into or practice your casting in our private river (Runs April through December). Originally built in the 1890s. Nestled in over 14 acres of water meadow. There is an attached but separate wing that is another listing. Two bedrooms upstairs, a large living room, loo & kitchen downstairs. no checkout chores.
