Beautiful apartment stay in converted barn - located in small village with local Co-op shop only a 2 minute walk away, this was a perfect base for visiting the Lake District, lots of sights and great food within driving distance. Would highly recommend and wouldn't hesitate to return for another stay!

A fantastic stay at the apartments with my husband and 2 daughters (age 3 & a baby). We took our dog too. Everything was pristine and had fantastic amenities. Felt right at home, we will definitely stay again! Thank you

Really added to our wonderful experience in the Lake District. Kate was a fantastic and welcoming host who provided pastries and cookies for us as well as booklets with recommendations of things to do in the area and hike trails in the Lake District. Would 100% stay again, and would highly recommend to anyone!

We had a lovely couple of nights here. The accommodation is spotless and comfortable. The garden was gorgeous. Our hosts were lovely, the right level of friendly and discreet. I have already recommended this property to friends and family and genuinely mean it when I say, I'll be back!

Very comfortable stay in a beautiful house. Located about 15-20 minutes drive from Windermere. Riverside, scenic views, walking distance to Lakeland transport museum. Very spacious living room and a comfortable sofa bed in living room. Basic essential provided in kitchen and the host also provided some milk, butter, bread, tea and coffee as welcome pack. (It would have been nice to have salt and pepper but ofcourse it is optional/good to have). Strongly recommend this beautiful flat.

Amazing stay for a 30th family celebration. The sun was shining so we spent most our time at the house on the terrace! Perfect location with the surrounding scenery. We had a slight issue with the hot tub room, due to previous guests. But this was quickly resolved! Can’t fault the hosts or the house. Would definitely love to return for another celebration in the future one day! Thanks again

The Coach House is an absolutely stunning place to stay - beautifully and thoughtfully restored, with exquisite choices of furniture and decoration. Excellent communication from Ruby - Everything feels tastefully and considerately thought out to ensure guests have the loveliest time. And we certainly had the loveliest stay in this 5 star beauty.

Lovely cottage in a perfectly idyllic setting tucked away 5 mins from all amenities in Ambleside. Very clean and well equipped and Catherine was very easy to deal with. Would be happy to return.

Absolutely beautiful place with stunning views from all windows. Really comfortable. There are many hill walks accessible starting from the house. The only sounds we heard were sheep and the birds singing.

We stayed at Swallow's Loft, in the beautiful village of Far Sawrey, for 3 nights. We absolutely loved the area and Louise's place is ideally situated. The apartment was very comfortable, clean and cosy and Louise provided everything we could need. Louise was very friendly and messaged a few times to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed.

This is a lovely place, and Sam is a friendly and very responsive host. The surroundings are beautiful and the views are expansive. We stayed in the servants wing (one of three places on offer at Claughton Hall) and it was really well-appointed, and in keeping with the style of the property. The beds were super-comfortable, great shower, and a fully-equipped kitchen. Sam’s directions were spot-on, and they needed to be because the property is well away from the main road, through a small narrow village and along a farm track. For us this just added to the charm and privacy of the place. It’s a special and unique place to stay and we recommend.

Lovely spot, fantastic views of the Howgill Fells. Quiet and peaceful, but just a 5 to 10 minute walk into Sedbergh (take a torch if at night). Comfortable and cosy inside. The log burner was well supplied with wood and kindling. The beds were excellent, with quality linen and towels. I don’t generally like showers that ‘dump’ on you from above. This one has forced me to reconsider! Kitchen well supplied with glassware, pots, pans, cutlery and crockery, all in good order (though we couldn’t find any egg cups). The only problem we encountered was the ‘Everhot’ range Cooker. It looked great, but the oven just wasn’t hot enough. We think it was programmed on eco mode and we couldn’t work out how to override this. After an hour, our Cumberland sausage and Dauphinoise potatoes looked distinctly anaemic. It might need re-programming, or more detailed instructions maybe. Damian was very welcoming and helpful, promptly responding to any queries. Highly recommended.

Lovely spacious holiday cottage - ideal for larger family or small group. Very responsive host and super modern energy efficient house with EV charger and all just a gentle stroll away from the heart of Ambleside.

This was one of the best air BnBs we have ever stayed in... I don't know where to begin! The welcome guide was the most helpful and informative I have ever seen and made finding the property extremely easy. The place was furnished with beautiful furniture and the accomodation was clean and spacious. It also had absolutely everything that you could possibly need which made our stay super comfortable, including really generous things like coffee pods, shampoo and conditioner and tablets for the dishwasher and washing machine! The location was perfect for us with our two young children - we were able to visit lots of the beautiful lake district around us very easily! Craig was extremely helpful and communicative during our stay and I would absolutely recommend this place! We will definitely be coming back! :)

We stayed at the Buttermere cottage 6th - 9th April 2025 with our puppy. The cottage was lovely, homely and had all the amenities needed. We ate in throughout our stay and had all the basics needed. The cottage was clean, tidy and had beautiful grounds, only a 5 minute walk to the Esthwaite Lake. My only negative was no sugar with the tea and coffee provided, but that’s my problem - I need to grow up and cut the sugar lol. Being serious, we had a gorgeous time. I would definitely recommend staying here, especially with your four legged friends.

Wonderfully appointed small studio, especially with kitchen utensils for such a tiny space, even a plug in hot plate. Bathhouse toiletries were gorgeous. Host very responsive with the few issues we had. Hilly walk into Bowness, but stunning surroundings!
