Locally sourced produce and essentials are available for purchase in the on site shop, so you can bring as much or as little as you wish. On-site parking is available. Cartmell Bell Tent - Easy Camping - Lake District

Large 5 meter Bell Tent located in the Lake District National Park near the historic village of Cartmel, with great views of both the coats and hills. 5 minutes from Lake Windermere, the site offers lots of green space to limited numbers of guests. The Bell Tent set up ready for your arrival, furnished with natural-style woven matting, sheepskins and rugs. Each tent has a table and benches provided. You will need to bring your own camping mats, bedding, stove and cooking equipment.

Professionally converted, it comes equipped with a fridge, gas hob, sink, dining table and electric hook-up, providing everything needed for a relaxing weekend escape or a longer family adventure.

Camping Barn, Abbot Park Farm

Built in 2012, our slate and stone camping barns boast 6 single beds on the first floor. The ground floor space includes a dining area, kitchen area which includes a microwave, kettle, toaster, small fridge and a single electric hot plate. and a ground floor wet room. Bedding, towels, cutlery, crockery are all provided. Outside are stunning views, a picnic area and public footpaths through the farm. Breakfast is not provided can be requested at an additional cost.

Walk to Ullswater and take a trip on one of the steamers, or visit the beautiful Aira Force waterfalls.
