Welcome to Nordico Point. Since 1984 our family has enjoyed the Boundary Waters Canoe Area. Our private 4.5 acres w/1200' of lakeshore reminds us of some of the most beautiful BWCA campsites that we have stayed at. Nordico Point aims to provide a similar experience for those who still desire a wilderness experience but no longer want to portage or sleep on the ground. And paddling is 100% voluntary. PS - you can launch a boat, too - small boat(16ft max - just no wake board boats allowed;)

Charming Log Cabin on Loon Lake-FREE Canoe & Sauna

Enjoy the charm of an original log cabin built in the 1920s on the Gunflint Trail. Enjoy free canoes, kayaks, paddleboards, and hydrobikes on us! Spend the day hiking, canoeing, or fishing and return to your log cabin to sauna lakeside, shower, have a cold beer or glass of wine by the fire for the evening, and enjoy the peace and quiet. CABIN 2 is a cozy escape into the solitude of the North woods with fun for the whole family or a relaxing trip away. Pet Friendly. $30 per night, per pet.

A five-minute hike through the forest leads you to the front door of The Burrow, our off-grid GUEST cabin on a hill just above Tucker Lake. A unique experience on the Gunflint Trail, our hideaway provides an opportunity for solitude at the edge of the wilderness without giving up the comforts of home. A short walk down a hill to the lake gives you direct BWCA access from our private dock and opportunities for adventure and relaxation with provided snow shoes, paddle boards and a canoe.
