Amakhaya by the sea is an entire self contained cottage with its own garden overlooking the shores of False Bay, with picturesque views, whales, penguins & seals it is the perfect place to unwind. Close by are the world renowned Boulder's Beach penguin colony; mountain climbing behind the cottage, access to deep sea fishing, diving and kayaking at Simon's Town Waterfront & Harbor; as well as scenic Cape Point Nature Reserve. Quaint coffee shops & restaurants line the streets of this historic Simon's Town.

FROGGIES - self contained - 2 bedroom - seaview

The accommodation is self-contained and has a stunning sea-view. The main bedroom leads to a patio with full table and chairs. Two single beds in the second bedroom. The lounge has a flat screen TV with Netflix and You Tube. Fully fitted self catering kitchen, with eye-level oven and microwave. Separate private entrance, only 5/10 minutes walk from the beach and close to the penguin sanctuary. Our nearest shops and restuarants are in Simons Town about 4 klm away. Own transport is reccommended.

There is thought and love behind every little detail. The house isn't perfect, there is raw wood, some things aren't finished, the furniture is vintage and may appear worn but if you look past that, you will find that everything there has its own story and that this house is made for the big things: sunrises, ocean dreaming and full-moons

This is one of Cape Town's environmental and historic treasures. It is a candle-lit hideaway with stunning views of mountain and sea. The Cottage is completely off grid, with fresh water coming off the mountain and energy from the sun. The cottage is built from local materials - stone walls, reed ceilings, blue gum supports. There are glass doors and windows throughout the cottage. The cottage has a beautiful open-plan bedroom and bathroom. The bathroom includes a tub, a toilet and a basin.

This apartment is ideally located within a few metres from Seaforth Beach, Restaurant and the penguin world. A friendly family of penguins pass by the apartment each evening to spend the night in the drain opposite our balcony. An extremely safe location.
