What a view! We were so lucky to get such great weather in April and were able to enjoy the most amazing sunsets and watch for wildlife! We saw a whale blowing and swimming by, lots of dolphins fishing, a few sea otters and so many bald eagles! As a bird lover, the garden is a dream! We loved opening up the house and letting the breeze come through with the accordion doors. As a couple we booked for the sunsets, but a family or large group would love this place, there’s so much space most of which we didn’t need. Wilson and Alice were attentive but also let you do your thing, which I appreciate. The primary suite had great views of the stars and a nice little garden sunset view. The shower and bath were also something to take advantage of! Great location to get to different points on the island! Check out was easy and not overly complicated.

This is the perfect place for a Seattle getaway! It has everything you need and the kitchen is stocked above and beyond anything I have experienced at an airbnb. We had one thing that we were missing, and Lane was so on too of it it was resolved in minutes. I would highly recommend staying here and the hottub is amazing!!

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Anchor Down Inn. The home exceeded expectations, such beautiful views and a comfy, clean and spacious home. The balloons, cake, and flowers for a birthday were such a thoughtful and sweet gesture. We were greeted with a friendly note, wine, and snacks. The hot tub was wonderful and the surprise visit of Seals our first morning was incredible. Rachel was very responsive and helpful if I had any questions, and even let us check in early the day of our arrival. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a private getaway. We will definitely be back!

We all have a great time at Sandy Hook. Very unique community, with fantastic views. The whole island lost power after a major wind storm on Friday night. We were without power on Saturday, but Darrell made sure we stayed comfortable by delivering firewood, instructions for generator and helping, troubleshooting and navigating our needs.

The perfect place for stay cations or out of town guests! I’m local to Seattle but was hosting an out of town guest and Danielle’s place was perfect for us! It is perfectly private, the hot tub and view of the city/space needle were amazing! Everything you would need to make a home cooked meal in the kitchen and perfectly clean bedroom and bathroom. The hosts were also incredibly responsive and were able to accommodate our late checkout request. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay! 10/10 would recommend staying here!

We had a great stay here. The house was very clean, charming, and thoughtfully styled. The kitchen was really fun to cook in and super cute! The view was beautiful and the beach access made it even better. Would definitely stay again.

This is a beautiful property in a residential neighborhood. It is decieving, because when you arrive at the property, you will be surrounded by trees, however the home is light and bright. Privacy is my biggest concern, so when I was driving into the neighborhood, I was uncertain about what privacy would look like. When you arrive inside, you feel like you have been teleported into a home in a beautiful forested area in the middle of a rural landscape; a getaway that will not disappoint. All amenities are provided, amd the host is friendly, professional, and available. Various ethnic restaurants are a short drive, as are Target, Safeway, and almost anything else you need!

What a beautiful property! My friends and I had the best time enjoying the stunning views, gorgeous house and the relaxing hottub. It was perfect for a girl’s trip. The host was kind and helpful as well. We would love to come back someday!

Great stay in a wonderful location, very spacious and clean.

We had our wedding here over the last weekend. Rachel was amazing, responsive, and super flexible. She let us check out late and even helped us put the parking signs up so our guests wouldn’t have trouble finding the venue. There are no bad pictures at this place and so many areas to explore on the property. Would definitely recommend this beautiful home for a wedding, an event, or for a peaceful, relaxing retreat. Would definitely come back again in the future.

I stayed here for the past month. It was a pleasant time for Haoru and her family, all friendly, and we would talk together and be like family. The house is clean and tidy, fully equipped, conveniently located, conveniently parking, and very close to the bus stop. The first time I was here, I felt warmth. It is worth recommending. Fantastic getaway location that offered tremendous privacy. Extremely spacious house that was even bigger than the pictures made it look. House had everything we needed from plenty of towels to soap/spices/basic amenities. For those coming in the winter months, be aware that the drive up is extremely steep and I would highly recommend 4 wheel drive if there is snow or ice. Rita was extremely proactive and responsive with her communication! Definitely worth the stay for a small group looking for a peaceful place to escape.

We had the most wonderful stay at Ivo's home! It is a beautiful property, stocked with just about everything you could possibly want or need in a home away from home. The views of Seattle are spectacular and extra magical at night. It's in a great location, just a 15-20 min walk to the monorail at the Space Needle park that shoots you to the centre of downtown in a just a few minutes. We appreciated coming back to this quiet location after busy days exploring the city. Ivo was an extremely friendly and attentive host, who was quick to respond to our questions and needs despite being remote. We can't recommend his listing enough and wouldn't hesitate to book again if/when we find ourselves in Seattle.

This place was truly amazing and very clean ! The host was extremely friendly and helpful throughout my stay. I’ve been to many Airbnbs before, but this is the first time I was this impressed. I even extended my stay because I loved it so much. Hank made the whole trip even better — he was wonderful to deal with and really made me feel at home. This was hands-down the best AirBnb I have ever been to, and I will recommend any Vashon visitors to stay here. The cabin is homey and private, the wood-fired hot tub was so easy to use, and the handwritten note and bread/cheese awaiting our arrival really was the cherry on top to us feeling welcomed. The cabin is surrounded by trees with minimal light-pollution, which helped to enjoy the stars and wildlife, and it is quiet and peaceful. By car, most restaurants and sight-seeing is all within a 7 to 15 minute drive. Cannot wait to visit again!

We spent a long family weekend in a lovely setting that felt very private. The landscaping and view are beautiful. We enjoyed the bbq, hot tub and fire pit. The kitchen is large and easy for a group. We had 7 adults and there was plenty of together space as well as room to get away. We would definitely recommend staying here when visiting the island.

EXCEPTIONAL STAY! This was beyond an amazing anniversary trip! This is what I call a cabin! The views and surrounds were serine, absolutely stunning! This was an amazing experience. The cabin was very quaint and cozy. Just relax, disconnect from everything in every day life and enjoy quality time. Hot Tub was a plus. The creek views and sounds were just out of this world. We will DEFINITELY be back.

Had a wonderful stay at The Treehouse. Beautiful scenery, and nice amenities. Spent the weekend enjoying movies on the projector, local hikes, and using the hot tub. Would recommend to couples looking to have a nice weekend getaway!
