Amazing handcrafted cabin located in the center of the "Roanoke Triple Crown" (McAfee's Knob, tinker cliffs and dragons tooth trails) just minutes from each trail head. Cabin is tucked away from everything. No other houses can be seen from the cabin. The cabin overlooks a beautiful pond with a small waterfall cascading in. Cabin was sustainability built with trees from the 20 acres it sits on. McAfee's Knob trailhead is 10 minutes away, Andy Layne trailhead to tinker cliffs is 9 minutes away.

Wineries, orchards, and hiking nearby. 15min to Town of Bedford and D-Day Memorial. 35min to Roanoke, Lynchburg, and Smith Mtn Lake. Friendly dogs may occasionally visit from my mother’s house next door. (Look for Wind Tides Farm sign).

Our private guest suite with its own entrance & patio is serenely located amidst lovely views of our landscaped gardens, playful horses, & magnificent mountains. If you want a place to kick back, unwind, & rejuvenate, our comfy guest suite is for you! We welcome singles, couples, small families, long-term guests and the family dog for an addition charge. Get away to the country in beautiful Montvale. We are 1.7 miles off US460 between Roanoke and Bedford. We have views of the Peaks of Otter, horses across the street, and nearby hiking trails. Our private 2 bedroom apartment is a great place to relax and unplug. Fully functional, furnished kitchen with microwave, fridge, full size stove and Keurig. We are 30 minutes to downtown Roanoke, 40 minutes to Lynchburg, 20 minutes to the Peaks of Otter. No pets please.
