Stunning location, plenty of space for 6 of us and Stephen was a great responsive host. Lovely Fire Pit area outside and the fenced garden was perfect for our dogs to run around in. Facilities exactly as described and whole stay was made simple by the host.

Great property with everything we needed for an overnight stay as part of a bigger trip. The accommodation is very clean, the bed is comfortable and the shower is ace. Excellent use of space and we enjoyed reading about the history of the building. The outdoor areas are well landscaped and we love the greenhouse and the rooftop terrace. The hot chocolate station is a neat idea and we liked seeing the art when we pulled the bed down. The location is ideal for Buxton, Solomon's Temple, Lud's Church and the wider Peak District. We didn't need to use it on this occasion, but the electric vehicle charging point is useful. Thank you for making us feel so welcome.

We had a great stay at Lavender cottage! It's in a lovely quiet location but only a short walk to shops and pubs. The cottage was well equipped and had everything we needed. We had a very comfortable stay! Thanks Ruth.

This is our second time here and we have enjoyed every minute of it as much as the previous time!! We stayed here recently for a few days and it was a much needed break away. A great short stay at this lovely cottage. Fantastic views and a cosy feel. Location was very convenient in the village very near to the fabulous pub and lovely walks. The cottage was very well equipped with everything needed.

We loved our short stay at Christine and Samuel's place. Their cottage was both immaculate and cosy. We felt right at home from the start! We loved being able to stroll from the house, and the pub in the village was friendly with good, traditional fare. We will definitely be back!

A lovely cottage in a charming village. The driveway for parking is a real bonus. Well equipped kitchen (hob, cooker, microwave, large fridge/freezer); excellent shower and very comfortable bed. It's worth bringing some logs for the wood burner making for a cosy evening. Several pubs within easy walking distance with excellent beer and food. The local stores and very nice high class bakery and deli a short walk away. Many fabulous country walks immediately from the village and more a short drive away.
