We stayed over Christmas, gorgeous house, didn’t need to use the car at all, very central location. Lyn was a great host, will definitely book again.

No complaints about the stay and we would definitely stay here again. Host is great and her communication is really efficient.

Wow, what a location! We enjoyed the lake so much, it was a very peaceful place to stay. The house is warm, clean and comfortable, had everything we needed and the treat tray was very enjoyable. Altogether a great stay, thank you so much. Can’t wait to come back and watch the beautiful swans again 😍

A very nice apartment at a fantastic location. Close to shops and tram-station. Maybe a bit for the center of town, but for us it was perfect. And Jo was a very proactive and responding host.

Rooms are comfortable and clean. Slightly smaller than expected but have everything you need. Within walking distance of restaurants and amenities. Car parking is available but spaces are limited although on-street parking is an option (fees apply). Overall, an enjoyable stay. Jo is very responsive and quick to resolve any issues.

Beautiful spacious apartment, with every need perfectly catered for. From the coffee machine to the keyless entry (great idea) to parking. Comfy beds. Large rooms. Location is great, easy walking to everything in town and perfect to explore further afield. Communication brilliant. Perfect.

Patty’s Barn was a lovely stay for our family. Michelle was very friendly and helpful and we were made to feel very welcome. The place we stayed at was cosy and full of character, with great facilities for us to use on site.

Absolutely stunning cottage. Amazing location with beautiful views. Cottage was immaculate with everything you need to make your stay comfortable. We had a lovely short stay we used the games room which is a fabulous resource. Garstang is a short drive away if you want to eat out but to be honest if you want a quiet break in beautiful surroundings this is your place. We are already looking at returning next spring 🙂

The place was gorgeous, views were beautiful, the pub ‘The Fenwick’ was lovely we walked to and from. Loved the chickens who stayed right by our side the whole stay! Just amazing. Wow what an incredible stay! This is hands down the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed at, and easily my favorite so far. From the moment we arrived, it felt like home. Every part of the property from the cozy bedroom to the charming dining room, well-equipped kitchen, and beautiful gardens was thoughtfully maintained and welcoming. We stayed in the Hermitage Cottage, which overlooks the river, and the view was absolutely stunning. The hot tub was ready for us on arrival, which was such a treat. One of the highlights was the peaceful walk around the island, surrounded by nature and the calming sound of the river flowing pure serenity. Jerry was the perfect host his clear instructions made everything easy and ensured we had a super comfortable and relaxing stay. We’re already looking forward to coming back again soon, hopefully for a much longer visit. It’s the perfect getaway.

The Wild Woodpecker was a lovely place to stay. Super clean and a gorgeous part of the country.

We had a lovely Easter weekend at Patty's Barn staying in the Purple Pheasant. This really is a special place for a peaceful holiday with beautiful nature trails and coastal walks close by. There's some child friendly activities on site via a games room and football and rugby pitches. The accommodation was very clean to a high standard and communication with Michelle was easy, warm and friendly. My advice is to visit Scorton nearby for a nice family day out - Cockerham itself it small and its a shame the local pub has closed but there is a fantastic brewery - a short 5 mile drive.
